You mentioned other people and their opinions quite a bit. I could be wrong but seems like u cut for others opinions. Its a plus or minus type thing but i notice that people who have a nice amount of "friends" or peers typically cut their freeform locs at a relatively early stage. Im just giving thanks and praises i wasnt born into a circumstance where i cared bout other folks opinions. Kudos who are peoply people, but not in my neurochemistry.

The locks were powerful. T’was good while it lasted. The experience, yes the experience is what was gained. Love and Light extended sir. One Love. You radiate Light, locks or no locks, physical body or no physical body. For the substance of your being is beyond form.

Hi, I thought ur locks was 🔥 and ur videos motivate me to hv patience, and enjoy the journey! I had manciure locks for a decade and cut them off they were very long and I still hv them. After my hair started to grow back I wore it in a afro it was big like Angela Davis. So fast forward I started freeforming July 1,2024 and I tell you I hv struggle here and there but hanging in there!! I just felt several buds on yesterday and it is so rewarding!!! But any who u look handsome wth or wthout locks.😊 But thank you for sharing your journey! One ❤

pressure from family. Trying to get a job. I mainly think that folks want free forms to look a certain way all the time, where if you are truly free forming you kinda gotta just roll with the punches especially in the beginning and especially after they mature after years on. I only have 5 flat congos and I don’t even know they are there most of the time until someone ask me anything about them. You have to not pay attention to them after awhile. only time to really bother them is wash and dry them.

Yeah im 4 years in and yeah like 5 congos for mine too. I agree, you must truly have an apathetic attitude towards all external validation. You truly have to see the flaws in societies beauty standards and how its built on a narrow, prejudicially biased and subjective foundation.

I also notice that those who dont have tams, typically, are the ones who cut. They try to fit into society and contort their loc styles to assimilate into that normality. Its as was previously stated you must TRULY not give a fuck to survive a freeform loc journey long term

Freeforms are TYPICALLY not for peoply people. The opinions, especially of narrow minded family and friends influenced by a capitalist society are detrimental to the journey.

People are so accepting to things that are normal, but when you are different, they think it's abnormal. Continue to stay true to "you", that's all that matters. I'm starting my journey and watching your previous videos are motivating.

With that being said you don’t want to wash too much either. And it depends on the person. I know people who wash every week and I also know people who go months without washing. It depends on your hair, the amount of product you use and your activity.
