It doesn’t say ‘Made in USA’ because it’s not. From what I’ve read. Thanks for your honest opinion. So refreshing for KZbin. Generally the channels with the most viewers are ones I don’t watch.

I'm about to fit the new gen 2 bags to my 2023 beta 390 rr. I didn't buy the extra tail mounting plate and I can't see how the supplied hooks will grab the rear fender. I'm considering cutting slots through the top of the fender but that seems excessive. Any ideas?

Sorry for the delay. I actually returned the gen 2 and bought another set of the gen 1s. They just work too well for me. The thought of strapping a half dozen pronghorn straps to the plate like they show on the site just wasn’t appealing for me.

Have you looked at the Gnoblin from Mosko Moto?

Thanks for the comparison. Out of curiousity did you get yours ahead of those who have pre-ordered or just a normal purchase and received early? Just ordered today.

I pre-ordered mine. I hope you like them!

Well, I liked them but blew out the bottom LH side catching on a branch just yesterday on 1st use. Be very careful if you ride in tighter situations with these. The way the new material ripped so cleanly is a bit concerning. No hole, just ripped both top and bottom several inches up along the seam.

@@jeffloucks2120 sorry to read that. If these are Chinese bags, they’ve got some stiff competition for half the cost.

Amazing how a 2 dimensional camera makes it look like so much less. That is a tough spot when seen in real life.

Cool video, still happy with the machine? Where'd you get those overhead bags?

hahah! I didnt think anyone would want to watch it except for those of us who went that day. It's been a lot of fun. Be sure to catch 13:00-16:00ish where I try to catch the YXZ 😂 I bought these and hung them up - got the idea from someone else www.amazon.com/dp/B087NN6NWW?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_dp_5D7A0Z53V0VKD4K6EZ3G

Blind Curve thanks for the link! Yeah I've been watching what I can on the Rmax, thinking about getting one. Took a ride in a friends XTR and the wife and I really liked the ride. Want to be able to carry more stuff than I can in the YXZ.

The skid plates definitely complete the look of the LE model. I've been eyeing this model for a couple months now & just can't decide on the 2 or 4 seater. Would love to hear your thoughts on the machine so far. Pros/Cons etc. Thanks !!

It's been a lot of fun! We originally wanted the x4 so that we could enjoy the time with more than 2 people, plus I liked the idea of the roof extending out to the tailgate, but it was either get a different enclosed trailer, or get the x2, or get the cage modified. The x4 just stands so tall, and I have a taller than normal ceiling height trailer.

I didn't think I'd like it but with the aluminum skids it's pretty sharp. That door is crying for a cool wrap, like a shark!

Certainly progressing nicely with your riding skillset! Those long uphill sections with large loose rocks can be quite challenging to maintain momentum on.

Thanks coach! It’s the bike 🤫 Later in the trip we were hitting some steeper hills with rocks at Bald Eagle which I’m working on the video… what a rush to have the front wheel stay light and letting the 390 roar. I’m addicted. 🙈
