Is the oestrogen blocker just for if you’re on gel? I’m starting Nebido on Thursday and no-ones mentioned me needing one
@RileyJustRiley2 жыл бұрын
You don't always get started on the blockers. My GIC recommend it when starting testosterone just to help your body adjust a bit easier. I have had some issues with them and only used them for 2 months at the start and have recently been put back on blocker injections. That's only because of my oestrogen levels being quite high
@anaveragemuppet2 жыл бұрын
Have you tried derma rollers? I’ve heard they’re meant to help so much

I have used them but I find that they can break my skin out and cause large cists on my face. Maybe its that as well as my acne.

Thanks for making this video! I’ve been on gel for 3 and a half years and my T levels have been pretty low for the last 2 years, I kinda slipped through the gaps with the pandemic, but I’ve just submitted to change to injections and I can’t wait. Also the convenience is a massive factor, 3.5 years of applying gel every day has worn very thin

Relatable. My oestrogen is 419 and my T levels at 12… do you know what this means? My dc sent a letter to the ltc asking them ti change me to Nebido. Were your levels like that?
@RileyJustRiley2 жыл бұрын
I can’t really tell you what that means I’m not a endo and don’t have a lot of knowledge on the levels and stuff. You’ve done the right thing with contacting the clinic. I started nebido a year and a half ago but that didn’t adjust my levels. I’m just starting a blocker to maintain the levels and hopefully that works 🤞

I have been on T since 2001 and my E levels were a little high so my doctor put me on Anastrozole 1mg only once a week and now my E levels are next to nothing.

i inject sustanon and it's 1ml per injection. it takes a good minute to inject fully, i was wondering how long the injection process takes for nebido?
@RileyJustRiley2 жыл бұрын
Nebido is 4ml per injection so as you could imagine it’s not the fastest. It’s also very thick so needs to be administered slowly. Takes a few minutes but it’s over so quick at the same time
@mackzok51542 жыл бұрын

how was it?
@crazycat11662 жыл бұрын
First nebido injection was very eventful I ended up going really sick and dizzy in doctors surgery just after nurse finished injecting🙈. Was fine with my second injection though so I think it was just because my first one was early morning and I didn't eat breakfast before hand. In terms of changes I've been getting more facial hair coming through but hard to say if that's down to switching or just down to length of time on t. Other than that not much different, it was a pretty smooth change over.

Heyy, Riley!! Just found this video, merry christmas!! Honestly, my experience was pretty similar to yours, I had my consultation in November and holy shit the private clinics are so fancy. Also, I'm from Lithuania, so it is nice to hear that it isn't many differences from going for top surgery in UK privately vs here in Lithuania. My top surgery date is set to january 6th and I'm just here watching videos about trans peeps experience around the world.

Hey, quick questions. How long were you on gel before you switched to Nebido? And why did you switch?
@RileyJustRiley3 жыл бұрын
I was on gel for over a year and o swapped due to my levels still being low even though I was on a high dose. I’m not sure if it’s made much of a difference as I need a new blood test. That’s the main reason and the convenience of not having to put it on everyday
@gnotknormal3 жыл бұрын
@@RileyJustRiley Thanks for answering. I appreciate it. I'm having issues with my testogel that 2 pumps my levels were too low, and on 3 my body was converting to oestrogen. And they won't put me on blockers. So I'm on the hunt for information to find if anyone had better luck on nebido but so far I've not found anybody who has had problems with converting ://

I’m pretty sure I’m gonna opt out of nipples because the healing process is easier, I don’t really want to deal with nipple grafts also I used to have a nice jawline but I’ve gained a bunch of weight on T, also these guys pick the best photos and angles of them, tbh you don’t look much different from them.

Do you have any recommendations about how to choose sizing and good binders that are on the cheap side? I'm only 15(turning 16 on May 1st 2022 ) and it also depends if i can continue doing ny job to be anle to pay for my own, rn I only have 45$ in cash. I dont want my mom finding out about me being transmasculine or bigender--(im still having horrible problems with my gender choosing) And also how to put one on correctly?
@RileyJustRiley3 жыл бұрын
For sizing I always measure myself and go off the companies recommended size for me. Most sites have instructions you can follow to get your size. As for cost effective binders- Spectrum are really good for pricing. GC2B is good too. They both come in discrete packaging. Don't buy the cheap ones which don't have a known names. I can do a video another time on how to put them on :)

@RileyJustRiley3 жыл бұрын
my second injection was way worse than my first. It really depends on how good you are with injections. after the injection I get a dull ache in the area its been injected but it goes away in a week. Nothing scary don't worry!

@@RileyJustRiley thank you so much! Very nervous lol, but usually not too bad with injections, this has helped loads thank you 😊
@alexarder2023 жыл бұрын
@@williamrodwell7226 nebido is mostly done by a nurse and most clinics won’t let you do it yourself due to it being injected into your glutes and it being such a large dose so it will be easier then doing it yourself

I hope the injections help for you, I know what it's like to have your levels in the wrong place and it's a right pain in the arse (no pun intended re: injections haha). I've stayed on gel and I like it, but we still haven't quite found the right dose, my endocrinologist keeps tweaking the dose a bit so hopefully we'll find the exact right one eventually haha. If not I'll have to move to injections too, but I quite like the convenience of the gel in that I don't have to book any doctors appointments to take it. Anyways if your stomach pain carries on do contact your clinic or a GP or something, best get it checked out if it won't go away
