I know this is an old vid but k&n is crap not even a real cai s&b is where it's at plus # 1 thing that wasn't done negative cable from terminal wasn't disconnected 🤦

@drew5992 at the moment i dont have a vid but also mine has the old version s&b the new version looks alot better but i believe both function the same so i would go with either s&b or banks aslong its a fully closed cai

Hey there. I have the same truck. I Lifted about 4 inches. Running aftermarket straight pipes out the rear. I just bought, but haven't installed the same Blackhawk CAI filter and I also bought a K&N throttle control module. Looking forward to the install. This video is a a few months old now. What has your experience been with this filter. Any regrets or thoughts, advice on this matter. Appreciate the response and I subscribed because of this video Was there any noticeable power increase, response in pedal, change in MPG. Overall was this upgrade worth it. Have you thought about the throttle control module in addition. Thanks

@@theoutrageousotter7672 I paid 400 on K&N website. I got the Blackhawk with the oil free filter.

I noticed MPG increased very slightly. Not a huge difference in throttle response, but noticeable. Makes the truck sound a lot better too. Nothing negative to say about it.

They came with mine. Maybe you ordered them from a different shop. I got mine directly.

So I'm trying to mount it on a 2005 chevy 1500 but it dont seem to want to go on what am I doing wrong??

Your kit should come with a bunch of adapters for the new antenna. It should be a similar piece to the one I used. I had to test each one to see which one worked.
