These people do studies where they show that the treatment works, do mental gymnastics to say it shows that it does not work, and then use these studies to end treatments that people have come to rely on and desperately want, which doctors see working, which are reversible anyway. Is this deliberate bad study design and working backward from a conclusion analysis? its maddening how the most vocal, most platformed opponents who are given official state sanction and credentials, are so badly uninformed misinformed, deliberately ignorant, and do mental gymnastics that cause then to come to the exact opposite conclusions that are warranted by the evidence, if you understand the questions you should be asking, and don't deliberately move the goalpost until its too far away to be reached.

Doctors can be just as wrong as everyone else. I suspect that doctors could be more prone to being more often wrong in areas they don’t specialise in. It's painful how easy it is for them to lie. Trans people are under insane levels of scrutiny at all times for everything, but antis can just do "revealed to me in a dream" tier stuff

I have trans people in my life. They have faced no end of abuse and harm... even from the people that are supposed to love them the most. To make up for this, I will try my best to support and love them the most.

This is just so vile. Not only are they trying to kill and silence trans kids, they are trying to kill and silence trans adults as well who used to be trans kids themselves and know the experience of it very thoroughly and wish to advocate by admission of their own child self for the benefit of other trans kids. Trans people who had little support growing up, or didn't even know what being trans was, and had to live with the effects of a puberty that they didn't want for their own body, have been saying for years: how if only they had support and knowledge as a child and were able to delay the effects of the puberty that did so much damage to them psychologically, they would be better off later in life as a grown adult. I've said it myself for years, if I had the support I needed growing up I would have been on puberty blockers 100%, and would not have to deal with as much dysphoria as I do now, I have to push all the pain of the irreversible puberty effects down because I was an unsupported, suicidal, scared trans child with no resources. These kinds of lying grifter fascists will always point to and lie about trans mental health, but they will NEVER acknowledge how the current political state of affairs that they are manufacturing and societal hatred and discrimination is effecting the mental health of trans kids who are forced to bear witness to it all.

Something I noticed was the vagueness about the "other European countries" mentioned as inspiring the Cass review. They're not revealing which countries they mean, because they know that the decisions in those countries were just as pseudoscientific as it was in the UK and would collapse under even the slightest scrutiny. I live in one of those countries (Sweden), and the healthcare system here (Socialstyrelsen, with Thomas Lindén running the healthcare department) pulled the EXACT SAME TRICK as the Cass review two years before the UK. They commissioned a special review from another government department (SBU), stacked that review with gender critical people including the most outspoken anti-trans doctor in the country (Mikael Landén), concluded that the evidence was too "low quality" due to a lack of randomly controlled trials (without noting said trials are impossible and against medical ethics), and ordered gender clinics to stop prescribing puberty blockers except in "exceptional circumstances" or randomly controlled medical trials. The only difference between the UK and Sweden is that people noticed what was happening in the UK, probably because British people in general are actually sceptical enough of the government to get upset when blatant corruption occurs.

It's curious how transphobes, when presenting the "facts" that purportedly "don't care about our feelings", don't put this effort into presenting what the literature says and why it says what it says. They don't actually look at the facts, they cherry pick facts that make us look bad and ignore everything that makes us seem legitimate.
