The UK have done a very diligent job in scaring the public into not starting families through the worst cost of living I have experienced, and I have lived on 3 continents myself. Two major issues are stopping the birth of British babies: 1. Wokeism Telling men to go be women, and women to be men, and nothing matters but your feelings. Radical feminism, suggesting that having a child is an outdated idea and demeaning some how to women. 2. Cost of living It costs about £1,000 per month for childcare in the UK, when the average UK income after tax is £1,600 per month. People fear this before even getting pregnant. The government must be, at least this current government

The cost of living in the UK in comparable to the level of income of other countries. it costs around £1200 per month to send a child to childcare in the UK, when the mean average monthly income AFTER TAX is £1400 - £2400, and that's before rent, food, electricity, gas, council tax, phone bills, internet bills, transportation costs, road tax, VAT (tax) and the list goes on.
