Unfortunately, there is no way to do colour marking on denim. It's a property of the fabric. It can only be made light or dark. But in case you want to make it dark coloured, be careful. Because to get a dark colour you need to kind of subfloor the fabric itself by increasing the laser power at engraving. And at such engraving the fabric becomes thinner and wears out faster.
