Unas vistas geniales, me ha encantado cuando llegas a la ermita dónde parece que debajo hay una cueva, para mi gusto un video demasiado largo en el que muestras el entorno con tomas que gustan mucho pero al ser tan largo lo abandone en el minuto 5 aproximadamente. tienes un like y una recomendación, un abrazo compañero

Fabulous and those Eagles you managed to capture, waw! I was in this vicinity a few weeks ago whilst driving to the east coast, there's a hill on top of Cueva el de Castillo that might interest you, thanks for sharing.

I watched a video of the 1901 colliery disaster and used NLS OS maps to see the extent of the collieries and the large railway used to service the quarry. It's amazing how little is left.

I've subscribed. I welcome such videos as this which show 'unknown' areas. They are so valuable. I followed this one using Bing Maps which show OS maps and satellite.

Wow ..what a visit great video enhanced with some great drone flying. I first went to Barmouth in 1952. Been going on a regular basis ever since. Who needs foreign holidays when you have the beauty of this amazing area right here.. many thanks ....Dave from Coventry.

Wow! the plat is HUGE, what an earth are they going to do with such a vast amount of (polluted?) land when this plant shuts down? (don't think people would want to live on it? and I don't believe any business would want it) I did not know it was several miles by several miles big? looks as big a S. Wales? good vid captures the size of it?

Most of the plant in the video is continuing to operate, but the first flight video shows some of the areas that will go with the change to electric arc furnaces. The equivalent at Llanwern steelworks was cleared and has at least half has been built on, both housing and industrial use, but it took a few years before any building started, and another 20 years to get to the current state.

That was amazing video. You got really close to the castle and church to get a great view of the building. I was based in Marazion last year working on a film. I was able to walk over to the causeway but the castle was closed for viewing.

@Histoscape many thanks. Yes the castle was closed when I did the flight, as it was evening, in fact the whole island was closed, but I am pretty sure the castle was open during the day when I was there.

Wow! Thanks for igniting my memories of Hope Cove this is a beautiful video… I went on the tractor to Burgh Island I think 🤔 but I was a bit small and got scared I think 😂. Thank you. Brings back memories of sixty years ago, walking the hills, tickling trout in the moorland streams and shooting snipe in the bogs. Yes, there were smoky chimneys, dirty rivers but something was lost in the interim. Hwyl Fawr from New Zealand.

i used to run over that many times in the 80s, as part of a 9 mile run training, summer only of course. It was brutal going up the Risca side and then back to Rogerstone. Happy times, less complicated times.
