Everyone complaining about how hard it is to program lol. If you have a least average intelligence, maybe even slightly below, this is not difficult as long as you know how to follow directions 😂

How do you select the events? I have created two different ones and can't switch between.

That last move looks like hell with the conductors exposed. Customer wants to see the jacket totally encapsulated by connector housing. Would be like the jacket stopping short of a RJ45 plug. Nobody would let that fly.

Horrible explanation. There are three terminals on a 3-way. The Black one is either Line IN (hot) or the LOAD (to the light). The other terminals are brass and are the "traveler wires." The traveler wires are used to convey the power between the two switches. They SWITCH their role (direction of power flow) as the physical switch selection changes. The switch is connecting ONE of the traveler wires at a time to the BLACK terminal on that ONE switch (the HOT, source of power or the LOAD, light depending on where in the circuit the switch is). When the two switches are BOTH set to the same traveler wire AND the switch is CONNECTED to the Line or Load (black screw), current flows. IF one of the switches change their position the connection is broken because the different traveler wire is now connected. Once in this state, flipping the position of the OTHER switch changes the traveler wire connected and completes the circuit for this combination of physical switch positions.

The video would be better--and complete--if it explained how to differentiate the two neutral wires, not just the two hot wires.

This video solved my problem. Apparently the line and downline wires were installed in the reverse order by my contractor and for some reason worked fine for a couple of years until all of a sudden it didn't. The green light stayed on but it had no power and I couldn't flip the little test breaker. I figured it was the outlet and tried to put in a new one and then had the exact same problem. Then I found this video, reverse the wires and problem solved.

I asked the guy at my local mom & pop hardware store how to wire this, so the switch would operate the outlet. He's usually pretty good, but not on this. Well, this video explained it perfectly, so tomorrow, I'll be stopping in at the hardware store, so I can tell the guy, this video saved the day... him?... not so much.🤣

unfortunately, our old home has switch loops that would be ideal for this, but the original 1960s electricians cut the Romex/NM ground wire off at the switch box, since ground wires on switches were apparently not required in the 1960s in our area.

Mine is a lot older than this model, probably installed about 30 years ago. I remember it was very hard to program, using only the one button that turns the light circuit on and off and a very small mechanical switch hidden on the side of it. No one seems to have instructions for programming it anymore...

My light keeps turning on. Problem is I’m not sure if it’s my setup mistake or faulty switch. It’s like that up until today since initial purchase.

How could a guy working for Leviton not know that the holes on the jaws of the wire stripper are designed to make perfect sized bends in the receptacle's wire for a screwed-down connection? The installer simply inserts the wire in the hole and makes a twist of the wrist. He doesn't know this???

Absolutely insane! I have to go through this 15 step procedure (requiring me to watch this 9 minute KZbin video) every time there is a 5 second power outage at my house - necessitating a reset of the timer. Whoever thought this up must've decided to make this the LEAST user-friendly system on the planet! 🤬🤬🤬🤬

My house has this controller applied to a heated towel rack. It is virtually impossible to quickly and positively establish OFF mode. Might have failed, and not in "fail safe" mode. I'd be more comfortable if this were, instead, a low voltage lighting circuit, but instead it is too hot to touch heat.
