Does Gary have a channel? His setup is EXACTLY the type of flying style I'm looking for. I'm not a huge fan of 3D. In fact, I, only fly 3D on the sim. But I rather sport fly at low head speeds.

For some reason, which I cannot find after troubleshooting, idle up 1 or 2 switching results in motor cut. Wasn't doing this before I did esc update. Anyone have a trouble shoot I haven't checked yet?

On the stock helicopter, How low can I go on the head speed before I need 115 blades? And how much flight time will I get ?
@benminor556215 күн бұрын
Be cautious with cracks about age. Gary has forgotten more about models and modeling than Ethan will ever know.

was put off by Ethan's "geriatric" remark, but was glad to see Gary hit back a little bit. Gary and others of his "age" and experience were instrumental in advancing electric RC flight so that Ethan can beat the hell out of his model for a few minutes and not have the electronics melt in flight. I personally thank Gary for all his advise and mentorship when I was writting articles for RC heli magazines years ago. Am glad to see him still at it!

Ethan and Gary thanks for all the great information. What is the lowest head speed RPM you can run on the stock system with an 11 tooth pinion on idle up one, and then idle up 2.Thanks!!

Hey Blade, i wonder if you may have any control over European HH? I really would like to get a Fusion 550 but for some reason EU HH have ridiculously small amount of spare parts for 550. The new 700 got a lot of parts in their list right away, but 550 still lacks a lot for months. I don't know what is going on. I really would want to try Fusion 550 but very poor amount of parts in EU stops me from that. I tried to e-mail them and explained the problem but nothing was changed.

a few months ago watching this i thought this is crazy. After I really start flying los with my drone as soon as the drone lifted off i thought this is insane. after so many crashes and so much time passed, I fly mine much crazier than this 😂😂 if u practice it will start to shine someday. This is real it may look hard but keep on pushing it will come.

Hey Ethan and balde team. I have finished my build and am ready for maiden. Im a bit concerned though as my motor with 11tooth pinion, super combo, seems to be getting hot after ground run with no blades at 50% throttle, only after 2minutes? Any advice would be appreciated. The build was great and the heli is beautiful. Cheers
@bladehelis2 ай бұрын
Thank you for the kind words and for reaching out! The motor warming up after a 2 minute run-up on the bench is normal. When blades are installed and the heli is in the air and the motor is getting airflow, it will run a little cooler. We are happy you enjoyed the build and are excited for your maiden of the Blade Fusion 700! :)

Hello from Germany - thx for zhr vid - just a short question - i bought the 120 infusion & NX7e + - manual didn't mention the NX7 to work with the blade 120 infusion? Is this possible to do so? thx and a good time rgds JOE
@bladehelis2 ай бұрын
The NX7e will work just fine for the InFusion 120. :) It will follow the same setup process as the other NX transmitters.

I can't get ESC telemetry on my DX9 transmitter.....I have set up the model memory etc as per the manual, have run telemetry autoconfig and still not getting esc telemetry.. I get ESC telemetry on several Horizon Hobbies BNF fixed wing planes with no problems. Have also set up Avian ESC's with Spektrum receivers on non BNF models and got ESC telemetry working easily. Any thoughts what I might be missing with the Blade?

Welcome to the fifth and final video of the Blade Fusion 700 build series! This video shows how to install the ESC, servos, and flybarless system onto the Blade Fusion 700 so it can be ready for FBL setup and its first flight. The electronics used in the video are from the "High Performance" Super Combo [BLH13075HPC], but the same method that you see can be applied to other servos, speed controllers, and flybarless systems. Although there are many ways in which the wiring can be done, this video showcases a middle of the road solution for those who want clean, but easy wiring. You can also see the proper way to mount the batteries to the battery tray, and how the battery tray system works on the helicopter. Thank you for watching the electronics installation video and for following along with the build of the Blade Fusion 700. Happy flying!
