TLX-s was my first choice, and it’s amazing too. But they let me drive the promo ITS back in July and I really only bought it over the TLX-S because of the 6spd transmission. Both great cars

I did, black wing is an amazing car, more power too, but I couldn’t justify more money for less long term support and longevity. Plus making power on type s motors reliably was also a big deal to me

Went good before the changed the part out it was a slightly noticeable. Was quoted a 4 hour job but they knocked it out in 2. Now feels brand new with no issues. 🔥

If I had to offer some constructive critsim, I would include jacking up the car. The manual shows a weird jack spot in the center of the car thats hard to access. I ended up using ramps but it seems you found some sturdy jack points. Showing where you placed your jack could help others.

Good point dude. There are two jack points, but they can only be used either for jack or stand. I def had a problem jacking the car down , might’ve broken my hand if I wasn’t careful

@@moonrockschopshop Yeah its a huge pain in the ass. I even have a low profile racing jack and I couldnt access the central jacking point. And then becuase the car is so low to the ground I had to use 2x4s to extend my ramps.

I’m 100 miles from an Acura dealer so I’ll probably never use my two free oil changes. How many miles did you change it at?

So the dealer recommended is at 15 percent oil life. I did that the first oil change but form here on out I’ll do one myself at 3500 miles and then the dealer can do the next one. Thanks for watching

It has been a year now since getting my ITS, and my only complaint is the weird rattles coming from my passenger door. Also, I wish it had memory seats. Every time I service the car, I spend a few minutes trying to readjust the seat position to my preference.

When I don’t put anything on the door compartments I don’t hear rattles. But yes hands down the seats are the worst thing about the car 🚙

The ITS in my opinion is a perfect daily sports car. I’m at 5K miles and same here no issues. It’s amazing how this car sounds. Definitely puts a huge smile every time I drive it. Heated seats are perfect with me being from the Northeast. This car is a Type R with a little more comfort. Love this car! Great videos man! Appreciate you sharing your experience with this special car. 👍👍

I agree with the storage space. My 16 year old Si has better storage. The hatch space is amazing though. I know you mentioned wrenching on older cars, I think these cars (DE5/FL5) are amazing cars but I still look enjoy driving the Si. The pre turbo Si just have character that newer models are lacking.
