im having trouble opening the secret door where u need to click on the torch i have killed the 1 boss and i went back to the torch thing but it cant let me click on it.

I could really see how this game was fantastic 15 years ago. I just tried a run today and absolutely hate it. Put about 50 hours in, took my time, cleared whole areas of quests and this game flat out sucks. It feels like they made the game as cumbersome as possible.

The ring of 4 winds that gives 5% reuse The cheldrak raid with the dagger of arcane rites. Prettiest weapon the game has. And the Matron contested mob with her mythical loot. This zone was one of my fav back in the day. Thanks for a good nostalgia video.

Really cool old forgotten zone next to maj dul city was the village of shin. The place with Chel'drak and the Matron. Loved loved the flavor there. And the first place to have lvl 100 guards lol. They had no range attack. I remember killing one after several min with my wizard at 80. Just needed one root to land!

Arena was a good idea gone wrong. It's basically pvp without pvp rules being applied. Ie. In pvp lots of values are adjusted, damaged adjusted etc. In arena an Illy can just use a 2m mez with next to no reuse and lock me down for an hour if they want. It's easily taken into crazy bogus realms. That's why even people who enjoy pvp don't do it. It's just not fun for the most part because it's insanely unfair as if this games classes weren't busted enough in pvp.

Im so glad this video is here. Randomly wanted to look at someone walk through maj dul. Haven't played eq2 since 2011. Was raiding in eof, rok, tso, sf..and a couple months of whatever came next. Was killing the avatars, competing with the Russians, locking down some world wide 1sts, expansion clearing first with a guild. Such a great and lucky opportunity I fell into. Wizard was my love. But I always loved just exploring this game. It gave a sense of fascination going into all the nooks and crannies of the world. I used to love roaming raid zones, old zones, own cities nobody uses anymore. Bit seeing all this now is overwhelming almost. So many memories rushing its overflow. It'd unreal how much of this games info I took in. I don't know if it's still in my brain! I think some of it bad to be forgotten to learn new haha. There are so many secrets in this game! You literally need to know a dev to be aware of every obscurity. Some are out of this world. I was perma banned from the game and losing my toon was too hard to just start over from. Would've forever been a shadow of my original. So I can't even pop in real quick for nostalgia. This is all I got.

@AngryIcecube I know these are old videos, but please don't ever remove them. They're the best documentary history and showcase of the zones for a legion of ex-players. Reading your comments make me sad for the current state of the game. I was there at launch and thrived for several years, but.. well, exits seem inevitable. There are few gaming experiences that produce painful nostalgia more than MMOs. This was one of the Great ones. On a related side note, I think I kept my "Hero of Maj'Dul" title up longer than most others. Great expansion. Cheers.

not working for the boss fight, i kept leading the eidolon to the ghosts but they just eventually die; and then all 4 of them just perishes then the eidolon transforms into the raid x4 mob.
