Can this field insure employment ? Is is a successful field for people of color ?

Doula work is a field where you will most likely own your own business or work as an independent contractor for and agency or sometimes a hospital. You can also get Medicaid reimbursement as a doula in many states. but unfortunately there are few if any opportunities as a doula to have a status of full time employee.
