Great video until the same tired, old, political White race hatred diatribe. Stop hating your race, I know we all have been conditioned to do so, but don't give in to it. These natives warred and killed and ate each other long before Europeans came and "messed it up." You'd think getting way out there like that, you would leave that mess on the other side of that flow you crossed.

This is a great video, and you put a lot of thought and work into this! Thank you for the excellent presentation. I couldn't make that hike anymore, and you have provided me, with some of the best video evidence, of Anasazi ruins, I could ask for. I will say, that if a person wants to hear the ancient oral /traditional story, of Chaco Canyon, and the Anasazi, as the Navajo, have told it for centuries, they should watch, and listen to Wally Brown. He is a most esteemed, Navajo Elder, and wise man. The story is nothing like the benevolent fantasy, that we have been taught. You seem like a man that would like to obtain, as much knowledge as possible. and you will have no trouble finding his work. I hope you do this. The story will blow your mind!

John I also have experienced that sudden need to sleep when in the desert. It’s a strange feeling.

Hi! If I'm not mistaken, I bought the backpack at Sierra Trading Company - that TJ Maxx affiliate. It wasn't too expensive and works perfectly for all my adventures. That said, I do have a smaller one I take on shorter hikes. Always good to have a backup! :)

If you watch Traditional Navajo teachings. Wally will make more sense of that place. Better than what the literature tells. And they found thousands of artifacts there. The government and its greatness doesn't let us see any. 😂 yup you do need to get some information from Wally. He is Amazing ❤

You walked right past a spiral glyph @ 26:29. Cool video! I want to make it out west soon. I'm 70 and still in decent shape. I want to experience some of this before I get too old! Thanks for "taking me with you!"

While doing these hikes looking for old mines it would be beneficial to learn the physics involved in dowsing with the modern light weight ball bearing dowsing rod, which is the only dowsing rod that accurately gauges what is being dowsed by pitting the energy of gravity against the energizing of the pure one-tenth ounce dowsing rod load that is taped onto the elevated acetylene welding rod, which free spins on ball bearings. This accurately gauges the dowsing of all edges, exact center, depth buried with angle of deposition, and most important is grading or deciphering the amount of the dowsed element that is contained in the elemental mass that is being dowsed. Read my book: The Art of Dowsing - Separating Science from Superstition ($14.95), by Michael Fercik. Learn all the physics involved in dowsing and how to build the modern light weight ball bearing dowsing rod. Then become a professional dowser by practicing my book's dowsing lessons of buried pipelines and electrical cables, tunnels and voids, precious and base metal placer and lode deposits, dowsing for treasure, dowsing for any element, amplified long distance dowsing from a moving vehicle, and dowsing on water from a boat.
