Hey SOG you posted this 9 years ago and it came out 9 years ago. And now I’m about to buy it 9 years later, all black version ofc. It was a big debate between it and the SOG Escape. Cuz the trident was too expensive, it is what it is. But 9 years later it’s still like the best looking knife I’ve seen

Is it tsa friendly?

Several keep saying good until spring breaks. I have aSOG AEGIS automatic that’s at least 7 years old. Use it on construction sites every day I’m rough on equipment. It still works like day it was new easily sharpened and holds edge forever. I’ve cut wire drywall and just about everything in between and mine functions flawless. Yeah this is an overseas model so hopefully their USA is half as good as my AEGIS.

Many of us dont like those nylon scales. Instead of puting better scale options like G10 or micarta, u give 2 nylon again? Not just 1 but 2!! Deym! I like my kiku xr, i will buy this knife if u put better scales on it.

Yeah but it won't work & then your customer service will make me chase them around, lose the file repeatedly & generally just do anything they can to rip me off & avoid honoring the warranty in a timely fashion. I would strongly advise that nobody buy anything made by GSM if they value their $ because from my experience, they're just rip off artists selling non functional trash under previously respected brand names.

I wish the blade would fit snuggly into its sheath. Straight out of the box it slips out way too easily. Very unsafe.

The jumping all over the top and bottom of the handle feel like chyt. i'ts even the same on the folder.

So I screwed up my EDC doing what you shouldn’t do with it. Fan of SOG so I thought I would give the Twitch III a go. Going to give it 4 Stars. The bad. They need to redesign the pocket clip screws. Impossible to remove to switch pockets without messing them all up. The blade locks very well but the lock is very thin. So it doesn’t make that high end click when opened. I know it’s an ultra thin EDC. It’s is crisp but somewhat muted. The aluminum handle is satin finished and slightly slippery. The good. The blade. Very, very sharp, perfect shape, length and width. Very beautiful knife. Nice quality. It’s a great knife at the price point. I do wish it was made in the US.

SOG should add a small flat pad where the pocket clip meets the back scale so it doesnt rub that texture into your jeans or whatever you are wearing
