Yes, reservation is needed. I also tried the conveyor belt Sushi Ginza Onodera but still think this one is so worth it.

Hello! I was there late April to early May last year, so the weather is mid not too cold or too hot. Perfect weather for long sleeves or just t-shirt. But it’s golden week so it’s about crowded. Thank you very much 💕

Tempura Endo is a tourist trap, they even have 3 restaurants in the same street, it was an ok place in 2016, went back in 2024 and it was crap. Tempura Matsu in Kyoto is excellent or Tempura Motoyoshi in Kyoto, which is very refined and superb.

Yes agree! Tempura motoyoshi was on my list too but we couldn’t afford the food range that’s what we chose Endo instead.
