The Greener Two

Hi! We are Lil and Haydo, aka The Greener Two - nice to meet you!

In a nutshell, we are two Aussie travellers with a passion for adventure, growth and sustainable living.

We took the plunge and purchased our dream yacht in mid-February 2020. Were we expert sailors? Absolutely not! All we had was a dream, and "some sort of idea about how to sail" between the two of us. And, that was enough for us to trade our life on the land for a life at sea!
For the first year and a bit of owning SV Haven, we kept working while living aboard to save a bit of extra cash and get her in tip-top shape for our first adventure.

Pre-Covid, we planned to sail the entire Pacific route, but our first exciting venture will now be the Australian East Coast and Great Barrier Reef with all the recent changes in the world. (No, yachts don't come with training wheels!)

We're just lucky that neither of us gets seasick very often! But when we do, it sucks 🤢. Being out on deck with the fresh air in your face is the best thing we’ve found, along with avoiding caffeine before and during sailing. Taking ginger helps too. ☺️
