This film is brilliant 🤗 Oh my god 😯 you missed it ‼️ In this film they created a human trap 😰 for bible thumpers. The Sphere, in deep space, says it's god. It simultaneously appears on Planet Earth as a doorway to the afterlife. But what the doorway actually is, is instant death ☠️ But our Protag, Claudia Black - using her powers of atheism 💃is having none of it 😮 I don't know how you didn't thoroughly enjoy this film, but really - when you watch a movie, you're supposed to suspend your disbelief 🫢 not superimpose them on the movie ‼️ Are you kidding me right now 😳 ⁉️

Ya. I used to listen to that Hans Zimmer Man of Steel song during the day. It made everything feel important and dramatic, even when I made tea. I get the same vibe from the Skyrim trailer song. It hits me thinking about how I'm living better then Jesus did, and he's the Son of God, a King. I can buy food through a window, I have a comfortable pillow, and He died for me and lived a poorer life then I did. How do you sit with that one?

I can't help but read through these verses and come away with a feeling of guilt and lack of certainty of what to watch, not to watch, as a geek. Even something as seemingly innocuous as The Office or Cheers would seem to be off limits. But there's also obviously a more important application in our relationships with others and outwardly towards people so maybe I'm just focusing in the wrong place. 🤷♂️

The movie was the WORST MOVIE I HAVE EVER SEEN!!! First Anthony Hopkins was terrible. The Bible never says how Mary's dad Joachim died but this movie took it upon themselves to make it up! Gabriel is an angel but they made him look like scary evil demon! Mary had Jesus in a barn!!! I guess they forgot that part too! I couldn't even finish watching the movie! I turned it off. The director should of read the Bible BEFORE making the movie!

LMAO at all the commenters complaining about the gameplay & the cost. Kids, this was a $49 hunk of $#&% on the Apple II & IBM PC & it was AMAZING for its time for all us D&D fanatics. I completely felt the nostalgia & loved it. And as a GenXer, I made a buck or two since the early 80s so this game's $39 price tag was petty cash & well worth it. (Along with Atari 50 & The Making of Karateka) Love love love Wizardry!

Thanks for this review. Indeed real time vs turn based does not occur often enough on crpg community. I hate the turn based type because there is simply no thrill no momentum & plenty of busy work figuring moves rather than act brazen & confident (and got punish for it 😅). Also un-immersive. Was thinking on getting this game on current winter's sale on Steam though steam version have no controller support. Seems good enough.

Christianity is a rip off of other religions... You can complain but their is no argument about it... No evidence that Jesus was born on Dec 25 of 1 AD or rather born period lol they riped off the pagans that they wanted to convert and the ones that didnt they executed for their beliefs so christians dont know what good faith is... Thats why athiests win every argument 😂😂😂

The movie is a metaphor for the last days. Mr. Reed : "They say that over a billion people have played monopoly but I'm guessing that only a fraction of that billion have actually finished it. Maybe that reminds you of something else. (pointing to the bible) Just a thought." If you finish the Bible, you will have read The Revelation. Refresh your memory on events that are to happen in the last days and then watch the movie again. Will be interested in seeing you review the Heretic with that perspective in mind.

The movie also reminded me of Don't Breath where the villain was also an atheist who used his nihilism cosmology as an excuse for kidnaping and killing people. Same as Heretic. Although in Don't Breath 2 he seems to become a believer and tries to do good by saving others.

To me it looks like another James Gunn movie with that signature retro vibe like his Guardians of the Galaxy movies. I think this movie will have that same level of depth, with some comedic relief. The dog will be used to pull those heart strings. I think the trailer was awesome. Oooooh, I don't know....I just watched the Man of Steel trailer and that gave me goosebumps. I watched this trailer again, and it looks like a comedy. James Gunns Superman looks low budget after watching the Man of Steel trailer. Wow. Yeah, not hyped for this lol. I mean, it's James Gunns Superman, so it'll be different, but it looks like a colourful comedy when compared to Man of Steel. I don't know what Superman is like in the comics. I don't know if it's serious, or funny, or seriously funny, is it colourful, is it dark? But yeah.

I'm having a blast with this game. I'm playing a goodish, sometimes chaotic Inquisitor Tactician Leader. I never thought to boot party members! LOL... but some folks in my party are giving me some, issues that may need to be addressed. I don't usually play the moral high ground character, but this time I'm finding it a hell of a lot of fun given the class I selected. And yeah, it does evoke that historically grey area of the Crusades and that really helps sell the _war against demons_ vibe to the max. Only in Act 2 and already I've run into *Hulrun* and wow... hmm, that guy leaves an impression. Then within my playthrough so far, Sosiel has an _issue_ with a certain bad fella, and I had to step in and get all 'Inquisitorial' to *settle* the matter, which was just a blast to be able to do. My first love is Baldur's Gate 3 first and always, but this hits the spot. Where is BG3... it's more of a tabletop, meet-the-friends type of vibe. Here it's like, _"OK, ok so the world is ending and I guess the crazy person who eats people is gonna really be my best Archer? Oh, and little Miss Noble is hiding some kind of secret, and the most trustworthy guy who I vibe with is a thief! Oh boy... the end of days makes putting aside our differences a little easier!"_ Or not... depending on how you want to experience the game. Great Review! It's so weird to watch one of your videos and you actually like something. Cool! <--Just kidding. Take care and Happy Holidays and all that Jazz!

Jesus, Mary, and Joseph were all perpetual virgins. God LOVES virginity, worldly Protestant devils do not.
@jrconway328 күн бұрын
Protoevangelium of James. The rough core story is based on that. However, Joseph is younger than in the Protoevangelium of James. In that (false) book he is an old man and widower to keep pushing the "perpetual virginity of Mary" narrative. That said, this story still includes the way Mary was born, the names of her parents, and the idea she was raised in the temple. None of these are in the Bible but they are in the "Evangelium of James". I heard this movie also still pushes the idea she is to remain a virgin even though Joseph is a young man here, though. Also, Joseph in this movie apparently isn't approached by Gabriel nor is he told Jesus' name until Mary gives him the name.

Holy Moly. Are you saying that showing kindness, and love towards others is like showing love for the Lord? Like, if someone has wronged me, and I imagine them as Jesus, and if I did that I'd forgive them in a heartbeat. I love the Lord. He's awesome. How can anyone hate the Lord? He's awesome. But is there a limit on this forgiveness? Like, what if someone murdered my family member for example. That's rough.
@christiangeekcentral4 күн бұрын
I can't imagine how I would forgive someone for murdering my family member. But I personally know a Christian in my church family who has forgiven the person who murdered her husband. It's absolutely amazing what God can empower us to do. -Paeter
