It's funny that when music critics make their list of funky funk groups, the Jacksons are never mentioned on that list. Or groups who use horns in their songs , again, they are never mentioned. And in this song and other dance hit smashes that they have had, they have proven over the years they are one of the funkest groups around . And their use of horns are always on point.

I wish these "country stars" today realized that you can sound country and not sound like an idiot. Mike was super human back then, so fast and quick that it seemed supernatural. It's ridiculous how effortlessly and fluid he was when he was young. You forget how incredible he was at that young of a age. The young people today that imitate his dance moves do a good job, but just looking at him right here makes you realize that no one came close to him dancing wise. I think this was the first time I had seen a camera shot from the view of the background dancers. Almost all tv shows still had the three-camera front view (left, middle or main, and right). Way to go, American Bandstand!
