We leave on May 30 for a trip that starts in Calgary via Banff, Lake Louise to Jasper and then goes via Clearwater, Whistler to Tofino and ends in Vancouver. We hope to experience that same wonderful feeling that this video conveys.

Imagine a world where you travel to one of the worlds most amazing cities and you waste an ever so valuable 24 hours going it to Tokyo Disney. Instead of going to small laneway bars, restaurants, temples someone prefers to waste a valuable day watching plastic robot dinosaurs and standing in endless queues and waiting 8 hours for an over priced garbage hamburger. Go to a Ministop and order a double cheesburger for 208 yen or better Famichiki! Ive been fortunate enough to visit Tokyo over one hundred time’s and to this very breath I would never consider visiting a corporate driven tourist scam when one of the greatest experiences any tourist could have exists only one station or more away. Id rather burn my yen notes in a hibachi grill cooking my incredible tori momo than give Disney one yen for what they inflict upon poor innocent tourists.

Thank you so much for this. But what did you do regarding language disreprincies? Did you learn Japanese all the way through, did you just learn a little to get by, did you use google translate constantly, or did you have or would you recommend a guided tour either way?

Hi. My wife is Japanese so… lol. That being said I went to Japan before I met my wife and it was fine. And the country is much more ready for tourists than when I first went. Check out my recent Japan Concerns video where I talk more about Japan and speaking English.

My daughter is going there in a couple of weeks, I have shared your informative video with her. How much cash should she bring? Is it even necessary? Can she use credit card in most places? We are from the U.S.
@SuitcaseMonkey8 күн бұрын
Hey thank you. I talk about the cash bit right at the end. It’s the most cashless country I’ve ever visited so we didn’t use any.
