I've had the R/T and now have the SRT, both 2023 model year... and hands down the SRT destroys the R/T in EVERY way. There's no serious comparison.

SRT gonna be better hands down has the 6.4 392 475hp 470pounds of torque..The R/T maybe 300+ hp

RT has 370 hp 390 torque not slow at all I guarantee that car will be in ur rear view mirror not far behind you can’t get away from a RT/ even in an srt

@@Mr4twenty.357 100 Crank HP comes out to about 50-75 Wheel HP enough to make maybe a car length in 1/4 mile....like u said the 5.7 will see nothing but tail lights but the 6.4 won't really be able to get away from those headlights

The armrest/switch control panels have been iffy 2 out of 3 times for me, at least on the driver's side. The red carbon fiber fit perfectly but when I swapped them out for blue ones, the lower part wasn't quite even (it keeps raising up slightly). I just swapped out the blue for silver and it's the same story -- the lower part of the driver's side armrest trim keeps raising slightly and won't stay down. I didn't heat it up so would that help?

Not the ideal car for those kinds of roads, a little slow through the corners, crossing over the yellow - you need to avoid that, there are motorcyclists and others on the road. Stay in your lane.

That looks so cool. Ever since I was 19 years old and had my 77 Monte Carlo I love to get on the freeway and cruise and listen to music. It is such a stress relief for me and it is so enjoyable. I hope to be able to make the 2024 meet in the mountains. Thank you for sharing your videos

We just traded our 2018 Durango RT for a 2022 Durango SRT392, pick it up in a few days as they have to do the paint and interior protection package on it yet. The test drive was night and day different. The SRT sounds so much better, the seats are 100x’s more comfortable, the suspension is feels like my corvette (we will se if that’s a good thing for trips) the breaks are amazing and the launch from a stoplight is just wow! My wife wanted a hellcat version as the Durango is basically her car, and I said hell no as she gets tickets with her RT as is!

Don't ever sell it bro. Sure the new Hellcats are fast and Supercharged with Stupid horsepower and all that BUT... There's no replacement the feeling of a GM V8 in an F-body with an Exhaust when you Punch it. This video gives me flashbacks when I was Driving my 1992 Z28 5.7 like this, in the day & night and racing other cars, mostly Mustangs, Unfortunately these were the days before fancy Go Pros and Smartphones that could record like this.

I know what you mean I daily a 2000 ws6 6 speed and have kicked around the idea of maybe getting a 5th gen SS 6 speed but I just can’t do it I love the T/A to much! It has such a unique look and even tho it’s not the most powerful thing out there is still is pretty quick and plenty of fun to drive.
