Hi there. I am a teacher at Santa Monica College, and I have used this video many times in my ESL writing classes. However, I notice that the video is not "professionally captioned," which means it doesn't meet the legal standards for any deaf or hard of hearing students in my classes. While your captioning is pretty good, it is not that clear for someone who cannot hear the dialogue. It lacks punctuation and capital letters, in other words, sentence boundaries. Would you give me permission to download this helpful video and have it professionally captioned? I can get it done free of charge at my school, but not without the copyright holder's permission. Thank you!

What if you're not allowed to write in ur textbooks???
@lukashenrique42955 жыл бұрын
Copy your whole textbook by hand. Just kidding XD grab a pen and paper and write down your questions mentioning the lines of the paragraph you've thought about. Example of what could be done: *numbers on the left are the PAGES of the book, PARAGRAPHS and LINES, ok? like 1.1.1 means Page 1, Paragraph 1, and Line 1 of that book* 1.1.1. There was a kid that liked apples. 1.1.2. He was sitted under a tree that had some apples. 1.1.3. An apple fell down and hit that kid's head. 1.1.4 That kid's name is Isaac Newton. That's a fictional story I've written for you, I hope you got the reference tho I've only thought about Newton when I was writing the 1.1.3 lol. XD Anyways, that was the book, now what you're going to do with the pen and paper is writing down the question, and at the last part of mention the parts of the book using these signs (). Here, let me show you: "Does the kid only likes apples? (1.1.1)" "Was he sitted in what kind of ground? Did the tree had another kind of fruit? (1.1.2)" "That must have hurted a lot. Did the kid stayed conscious? I hope he is well. (1.1.3)" "Who is that? Let me open Google and search about him. (1.1.4)" I know these questions are dumb, specially the second one, but they were the first things of what I could think of. So yeah, I know how you feel about not writing in textbooks, it's the same for me. To be honest I just take notes on my PC using the Notepad and write down what I understood about what I have read. But that way I showed you is another way, I hope it helps you somehow. XD
