Brother I understood what all I did wrong and why I was benched inspite of having a good ball control and passing.....thankyou so much for letting me understand the positional aspect of attacking midfielder, it wasnt this clear in my head as it is now. I never played as a num 10 in a 11 v 11 but i always play it in a 8 v 8 or 9 v 9 , i know how to find spaces , and in the 5 v 5 i’m always in movement , find spaces even if the field is more little and i have a so good vista ! So can i play like a number 10 in a 11 v 11 naturaly like i play it in the 8 v 8 , 9 v 9 and 5 v 5?

Yes, it is very similar. You are looking to find the pockets behind the line of the opposing teams midfield line. If they play with a holding mid, you are trying to find space either side of him to get on the ball and do what you do best!

please help me clear this up, i wast watching sergio busquets and have been for a while when the center back or the right gets the ball and theres to deffenders high he goes in between his two center backs then the center back on his left gets witdth and the right center back has him as an option passes him the ball 9 time out of ten. he has pretty much two options play the channles or play it to ither center backs but you just said dont do that because its crouds ?

I am not sure I fully understand what you are saying but if I am correct you are saying that Busquets drops in to make a 3rd CB if the opposing team is pressing his two center back with two forwards? That would make sense. If his CBs can't find him due to the press taking up passing lanes then he will just drop down to join them and now they are 3v2 numbers up +GK who makes that 4v2 if needed. I never said your DM can't drop down. I am looking at the most efficient way. So if we can get them to find the DM in the hole as the other team is pressing then immediately two players are out of the game and he is facing forwards. The other thing you will notice, if the DM drops down to make a 3 in the back, the fullbacks will now be getting forward. That is not a bad thing. There are many ways you can play but this video is specifically looking at getting the DM on the ball facing forwards and moving the opposition. Hope that helps!

left centerback should move up, cdm should move down, so its more difficult for opponents to set high pressure.

Depends how you want to play. The most common movement is the DM to drop down and the two CB get a little bit wider and let the fullbacks get higher up the field. Ideally, they can play through the press and find the DM facing forwards on an angle.
