Guess one way to make you flush some new coolant. Hey lets put the hoses in the middle of the belt so new belt and coolant at the same time
@6476Mike21 күн бұрын
Previous idiot that owned my car completely plugged the heater core with radiator stop leak trying to stop a leak on water pump, it's the second time I flush it and it will start to plug again, I got no idea how much of that stuff was used 🤬🤬
@312ark21 күн бұрын
@@6476Mike Sorry to hear about that. The water pump is actually pretty easy to change these trucks. It takes about 2 hours to do it. If the previous owner plugged up the heater core so badly that it needs to be replaced, that sucks. It takes about 7-8 hours to change the heater core. I've done several heater cores and a couple A/C evaporators on these trucks.

To blow out the lines, you have to open the valves inside one at a time. Otherwise, one open valve can discharge all of your compressor’s output (path of least resistance) without pushing water out of the others.

@@312ark Thanks to your video and another one I watched I found the problem. Remember, I had spark on both sides but when I did the test pulling a plug wire off one side the engine died. Told me that there was something else wrong besides the coil. I pulled the valve cover off and there it was, the bolt holding the rocker arm on the intake valve had rattled off ... no air nor gas was getting in... the valve was stuck closed. I put it back together and gapped the rocker to the valve and started her up. WOW.. power! I tested the fix by cutting some wet grass and she ran very strong! All fixed.
