I just stumbled to this channel by chance and it's so good and informational and fun.

So I’ve noticed over the years , why can’t you take dead heads ?
@saskshedsАй бұрын
CO’s don’t know if you illegally shot the deer or not. You can take them if you get a retrieval permit. They’re also illegal to sell. Personally I don’t want to do that as I kind of hate deadheads. They’re neat to find but I’d rather find sheds to keep cuz you can sell them and they mean there’s a whole new set of antlers to be found next year off that deer
@KodaCutlerАй бұрын
@ great response, just wondering and hoping you do keep some of them, some you find are insane and would be super rare to find where Im from

One of the best shed hunting channels around , humble and hard at it.

Yep all baby ticks. I’ve had that happen to me once before 6 years ago in October. Must be the time they breed

Treat your clothing with permethrin and it'll kill the ticks and chiggers when they get on you

In your moose spot, you said you hadn’t shed hunt it in a couple years. Are you guys on private or public or how are you finding spots that no one has been in for a couple of years?
@sasksheds7 ай бұрын
That moose spot is public land. Not overly populated with people helps for shed hunting
@daddyqt54387 ай бұрын
Where do you shed hunt if you don’t mind me asking I don’t need the exact spot just the closest city

I like the dead heads, but you don’t show them long enough to see them well, maybe show them on video s little longer, thx
@daddyqt54388 ай бұрын
I already found a few big browns and my cousin found a deadhead that he could of shot and it would have been a pope and young archery world record typical
@bmike4108 ай бұрын
Its honestly refreshing that you don't explain, with the camera pointed at your face, how you spotted every shed and then say, "let me turn you around and show you." You just show us the sheds. This is the template shed videos need to start using. It gets so monotonous hearing the same story for every shed.
@sasksheds8 ай бұрын
Appreciate it. I’d even say my videos before were better for that. I used to just strictly video me walking up to the sheds and not my face at all
@bmike4108 ай бұрын
@@sasksheds when someone picks up a stud it’s cool to see the full pick up with them in the shot because you get the perspective of the size. Just so over done with every dink in most shed videos. Full pick for studs and hand picks for regs and dinks is what I like. The explanation of how it was found is the worst though. Let me guess you were looking then found it. Haha. Just my dumb opinions though. Take it or leave it.

@@sasksheds I understand I love seeing all antlers don't matter spikes and all them especially the freak's or with droptines anything with a drop is awesome 👍🏻😎 to me I totally understand about the money part sold most of mine a few years ago made several thousand dollars the rest burned up in my house 🏘️ fire even the first and only 200 inch whitetail I have killed the mass at the base and all the way out the beams was unreal didn't even get to take any pictures one base was 9 inches the other side was 8 inches
