Whats the price for this setup. I have goten a price for a simulere setup. But it sounds so overpriced..... :( So hard to find prices on this kind of equipment. So it is hard to verdify my self, if it is a realistic price. Please help :)

Prices will be all over the map. Depending on what you want to do yourself, vs turn key solution. You can get a used robot with low hours, set up with spindle and tool changer for $75USD, or you can get lucky and find one at auction for $30k. Or you can buy new, turn key solution with specialized software, 7th axis etc, and spend as much as $400k. If you buy a high hour robot at auction you can pay as little as $5k, but it will not have a spindle/tool changer. I paid about $25k for a used robot and spindle, but I had to do all the integration myself ( a lot of work for first time around). Also software to do the CAM is NOT cheap. SprutCam is $15kUSD for a license.

@@GregsStoneYard thanks for your answare. Did you have any exsperiance with robots etc before you buyed it? And what do you use the robot for 😀 And have you had any problem with accuracy?
@GregsStoneYard8 ай бұрын
@@PumpiPie I replied to this before, but it's not showing up... I had no experience, but did with CNC machines. I use the robot for sculpting stone. At least that is the plan. So far I have only set it up and done some simple milling. No problems with accuracy. If you plan to mill steel for highly accurate parts, then a robot is probably not the solution. I have a video on my robot. Still working on proper safety barriers.

@Special Patterns, what accuracy we can get if we milling at MDF or Prolab epoxy tool board? I would like to use KUKA Kr210 ( not HA)
@specialpatterns73304 жыл бұрын
Depends on your programing skills! Try not allow axis 2 and 3 to change motor direction while the cutter in on the work piece. So from +-0.5mm up to +-1.0mm
@grzegorzkowal64294 жыл бұрын
@@specialpatterns7330 Thank you for the reply, I thought we can get a score below 0,5mm. At your movie test control with faro show excellent score accuracy
@specialpatterns73304 жыл бұрын
Yes it's good results but.. we are using kuka.cnc, robot is AA version, robot is new, most programing is 3 axis movement. Then you can get 0.3
@grzegorzkowal64294 жыл бұрын
@@specialpatterns7330 KR210 which we want use is new also. We know that we need KUKA CNC or other similar system which translate g-code to KRL. What does it mean AA version?
@specialpatterns73304 жыл бұрын
AA is absolute accuracy. It's has been adjusted at kuka factory. Kuka.cnc does not convert to krl. It enables the robot to run gcode. It fundamentally changes how the robot works. This means the look ahead goes from 3 lines to 120. Now it can change direction better. Even with all this you still need to watch change of direction in axis 2 and 3 motors. The tiny bit of backlash can be seen when milling hard materials. Also how do you do your TCP? You need digital probe to get it perfect. Good luck!

Just not work? Go and travel the world, start and raise a family, persue your passions, enjoy life? Ya know, things that we as a species should be doing, but have been brainwashed into believing we "need a purpose" to exist even though our only real purpose is to breed and continue the species.

I do understand your question very well and can say that The probing is to confirm there was no cutter break and operator loaded the correct cutter to begin with.
