Cant any big wigs in the boxing world step up and try to help this living legend get back in the ring? You can tell just by looking at this man he still become a champion in the heavyweight division! This guy can STILL really get it on. A rematch with tua? A big fight with tyson maybe?$$$$$ foreman?$ Holmes?$ big bucks await for a good promoter/manager quite possibly! Somebody step up in the boxing world and help this legend out❗🤔✊🏿🦍✊🏿

Ike' The Ice-Pick Killer' would have been a better ring name for Ibeauchie than 'The President'. If he indeed gets out of prison, apparently he is getting deported straight back to his native country of Nigeria. His criminal behaviour and numerous criminal convictions have made him an undesirable in the United States. With Trump back as president look for Ike to be deported back to Nigeria where he belongs. I think he has been in prison for 24 years in the United States already for his numerous crimes. He is a crazy individual but when he was boxing as a pro back in the 90s he was a potential super star in the making. He could have held his own with ANYONE including Tyson, Holyfield and Lewis. He was a MONSTER in the ring and out of it too. What a scary individual!

None of the promoters nowadays want to get involved with these older guys especially the big promoters they can definitely get out on small cards but these guys are looking for something less local which is understandable

To me it would be the principles, of course Ike can provide for himself but it doesn't mean he's financially able to spend extra on his own say work gear, it can be expensive especially good quality boxing equipment. An average working class job most of the time provides some uniform or something you can wear while in work, in the contract it promises Ike an advancement so he can prepare for the fight. He needs boxing shoes, or might need extra travel funds one day because now he has to prepare for a fight he has to go out of his way for it making he spend more money, an advancement is no too much to ask for especially if its legally permitted in the contract.

I wouldn't bet on it. I recall 12 full rounds against Dave Tua, one of the most dangerous KO artists of his generation. Briggs is older too, without Ibeabuchi's legendary staying power and iron chin.

It is sad that these people are selling him dreams just to get clicks on their youtube channel. Go back and look at the situation with Tony Ayala after he had a long prison sentence and returned to the ring. Ayala got a massive contract, not through someone with no boxing promotional clout himself or youtubers (even with the best intention) and got paid a lot lot more per fight than he did before going to prison.

Hey Dede, I'm no boxing promoter (clearly) but I'm a Representative. I'm sure if I was "getting clicks on my KZbin channel" it would certainly align with the objectives of both said promoter and rep, clicks is part of their job. KZbin is still a viable platform to promote any event, regardless of how many subscribers you have, all its takes is the production and thought of one video to gain enough traction, the work put in very much makes a difference - "promotional clout" speaks for itself, its something that can be generated. But more for my videos being focused on public interest and Ikes happy for me to do that as a Representative on the "Road to Return."

@@llanero4069 It may seem that way, but as a friend of Ike I care alot about his well-being as a boxer and a person. We are all human beings with a passion to pursue and Ike is ambit for life in the boxing world to continue his legacy and clean the what if from his name. He is an experienced legend and even if we can't get him a fight, the purpose of promoting him is to get him some form of position back in the door whether it's a coach or trainer, everyone deserves a second chance 🙏🏻

I get that! Boxing is definitely a young person's sport, but many fans love seeing the legends back in action. It brings nostalgia and excitement - experience can bring a unique dynamic to fights. Sometimes, it's not just about age but the legacy they want to leave behind. The sport can be physically demanding, but some fighters thrive on the challenge and passion for the game.

I'm not sure, at 51 years of age? of course he wouldn't be fighting any top 10 heavyweights. The two fights I would of loved to have seen, would of been against the two fighters he ducked, jeremy williams and michael grant.

No way did he duck Jeremy he was good too but chinny and small compared to this monster of a man Ike would have easily won that one. Also grant was made to order to upright and chinny Ike would have obliterated both men on the same night

What promoter are you and Ike talking to? Good luck for the Briggs fight being made. After that it would be interesting to pursue the wba route, try get someone like ortiz or chisora. Pulev will likely have the regular belt by then. If Ike comes through hopefully he gets a shot at that belt.
