Sides are too steep. 1 side should be flattish for easy ingress and egress.

Great video as always Dave👍, the farm I was carting silage for use's bailed silage and tyre's to hold the plastic down, yesterday my neighbour abandoned making hay and just made hayliage, the second time this has happened!! Hope this is not becoming a trend.😟👍

We cut the fertiliser away back ourselves. It's too expensive. Grass is doing ok but not thriving like it should be

The greenhouse looks alot better and tidy now without the dreaded marestail Dave 👍, get that strimmer out now and tidy up the rest of the garden, the potatoes look very well didn't see any of the disease or blight, as for the mystery plant, I'm going for courgette??? 🤔 your grapevine just like ours is seeded grapes and no-one eats them 😆, but abit sad that our peach tree had to have a branch cut off because it had died. 😐, I'll admit I do miss having a gooseberry bush and gooseberry pie, hadn't had that for a long time.😋👍

@@DaveWuzHere beer traps are much more effective than slug pellets just buy a few cans of example Tesco own brand cheap larger cut of plastic bottles tops and the bottoms make a little hole and put the bottles in make sure the lids on and then put the beer in then leave it and check the next day

What way is grass growth up north this year? I've never seen a year like it here in East Galway. Grass just wasn't there in the spring. Then it got going a little but anything that was eaten didn't really grow back. Very freaky. Have ye those cattle in since last autumn?

Greenhouse is looking fine, shame about the marestail problem, black plastic would be better but small fertiliser bags is better than nothing, shame about the rhubarb and some of the potatoes, hopefully the plumb trees will pull through. 🙂👍

Yup. That there is a three point hitch. It goes up and down. Second most useful tool just behind the loader.

I think there are 20-25 suck cows, including a few old milk cows. This rain has been a disaster, got the silage about half way and it's raining again

Struggled with the other farm's silage 2 weeks ago, rain, wind, (it didn't help with filling the trailers or the sheeting on the pit) but most of all, the endless brake downs of the so called dealer checked forager that was bought last year for £20k 😳 then £800 to check and service this season!!!!, it took 2 days to finish 32 acres.. unbelievable 🙄 will post pictures to you later today. 🙂👍
