Perfect video! I'm ready to replace mine now! My issue was my 1999 Mustang GT convertible's lamp light on the rear view mirror would not "consistently" turn on when I opened the door or turned the headlight knob to the left. It seemed to work when the car had been driven for a 10 minutes or so. Weird. Everything working now! Even when I close the door, the lamp turns off after 25 seconds! When passenger door is closed, lamp turns off immediately, as expected. I even get the solid tone if a door is open when I turn the engine on.

8 years later this video is very useful. 10pm dealing with the wires. I just reassembled 😂😂. Tomorrow i will be Doing it again thanks to your video!

That video in my opinion features the perfect chime, and actually I enjoy the small background noises you hear from time to time like the car ignition starting or a faint dog bark. Those extra sounds really take you to a relaxing breezy afternoon in the backyard. Thanks again. I just did this after watching you do it got mine all hooked up and it leaked really badly .So I took my old favorite JB weld steel stick to it and plugged up the seals and end caps with it and now it's dry.l wanted to use a sharkbite ,but none of them fits the old 1inch pipe ,just the new pex pipe.This compression fitting here for pvc is the only thing l could find that would work on this old black pipe
