@2:47 "you can only store 32 points of data in your plot" . INCORRECT! Each channel can have up to 1023 points. If you're setting the control address = 1 to continuously add points to the plot, then the 32-point rule you mentioned applies. Otherwise, set the control address to 3 and plot the maximum.

HELLO. Is there any way to synchronize from data sampling to an existing table on the database? Currently I see that it automatically creates 3 different tables including _data, _dataformat, _datasection. It is really inconvenient when used in a specific application.

We recommend that users keep the original .cmtp or .ccmp file, as this is the preferred method for backing up projects. Please note that after decompilation, template objects will be uncoupled from their grouped components, leaving only the individual objects.

With this arrangement of HMI being the Modbus Serve, is it possible for the HMI to read values from the Arduino? This example is purely for the hmi to provide data to the Arduino right? I am likely missing something obvious but I appreciated this video a lot and I appreciate your help. Cheers

Hello! In this example the HMI is actually the Modbus Client or Master. That is to say that the HMI will request data from the Arduino, not the other way around. I hope this helps!

Hi @phupham7656, the setting that's limiting data records to 1000 may be be found within the Data Sampling object. If "Customized file handling" is chosen within the "History file" section, select the "Settings..." button. In the "Trigger method" section you will see the "Max. data records in a file" field. By default, this number is 1000. This may explain why you are only seeing 1000 records.

Hi @kampasp5, In this case, CODESYS is talking to the HMI via Modbus TCP, but those requests are being routed to the Opta via Modbus RTU. I hope this helps!

Hello, excellent video. I would like to ask a question. I have two Weintek HMIs. One is a CMT3161x model, which is already configured and connected to a PLC in a transformer substation. The other HMI, which is placed in the workshop where I usually work, is a CMT2166x model, new and not yet configured. I would like to be able to view and control the HMI connected to the PLC in the transformer substation from the HMI in my workshop. How can I establish this link between the HMIs? Thank you.

However, there are some network devices that can route communication from your workshop HMI to the substation. The IT personnel at your site may be able to recommend a specific device for this task.
