I love that you documented this! I was at this race too! I was looking on KZbin to see if anyone filmed it as it was my first 10k of the year. It was an incredible day. The first 5k was fast the 2nd 5k was such a drag lol. I'm resting for 3 days now and getting ready for tatton park 5k in 2 weeks. Congratulations on finishing 👏 I loved it when I got to the end and the cheers were amazing

You know you can use a special paint on the yellow stained part of the fridge and if you want to up grade the colour of the doors you can cover with a fridge vinyl or appliance paint because my American drinks fridge is 17 years old and looks brand new and is going strong

Ok no I’ve done stairs myself than £150 to £300 for the runner max £120 for the metal parts that go across optional a staple gun job done do it yourself that’s a wild extortionate amount

I had a clothing rail. I didn't realise until I got to the new place that the movers had left it at the old place, I was very annoyed. Where is your bed from if you don't mind me asking? I'm looking for an ottoman bed myself and a like the colour and the height of the headboard on yours.

Timer with a light, you can also get a small light unit that flickers so mimicking a TV so looks like someone is in for security

You’re doing great job and it’s lovely to see your house transformation. Agree the bronze tiles look good and add warmer colour/ texture to your lounge area - maybe add a few black bar stools.. You have made so much progress, it's looking fabulous ! Love the kitchen tiles (did you think about grey grout? white is a bugger to keep clean!) also little paint tip, after trying pretty much every brand I really rate Wickes tough and washable range, it gives great coverage and is easy to maintain , also it's a good price and often on offer :)

Hi Sian. I bought a house last year and had to have the roof lining replaced ASAP! It looked like Edward scissor hands had gone on a rampant in the loft!!!! I also had some cowboy builders do my bathroom and recently had to have it done AGAIN because the cowboys were so bad (got a refund from bank because I pad by Visa Debit). Once you have a good contractor - you sound happy with your plasterer - they can point you onto other decent and professional trades. You're definitely not on your own. I'm surprised your surveyor didn't spot the roof holes, my survey told me about my roof lining. When you paint your bathroom, make sure you buy bathroom paint and not just matt paint. Bathroom paint will help stop moisture and vapour getting into the plaster. But good luck you'll get there eventually.
