This is my grandad who wrote this and is singing. I remember the last time I spoke with him, I was too young to realise he was dieing and I was really saying goodbye. It's just nice that I can come onto KZbin and Spotify and hear his voice again

I was driving down the street with my windows down. I had Alexa Echo in my car, hooked up to my speakers. I gave Alexa some random request like play "Sweet Jane". Instead she chose this. I had never heard it before. When the guitar came on, I was at the traffic lights. The driver in the car next to me turned around to look. I swear, the other cars parted ways and just let me through. Lou Fucking Reed.

I saw him first as the opening act of the Stag hot press week in the National Stadium. He did some Donny Osmond skits with big teeth in and cracked the place up. Have the single since it came out. A true comedy legend. RIP Jon , thanks for all the side splitting laughs.

the stories are horrifying, of men and boys snatched from their families to fight, and expected to fight for the country that stole them and abandoned their families! whose crazy idea was this. Not guaranteed to generate loyalty, that's for sure.

This song reminds me of my best friend that passed away in his late 20s of a heroin overdose. Sad that he amounted to a statistic but then again, I kind of envy him for that…. 🌞
