Thanks for the video. The shot of a young Dave Hussey sitting at the Sunburst corrector is great! I learned to grade on that system, in that room, at Magnetic North too! I think I have a very similar pic of myself in that chair lol.

I was watching your other video about the current president not protecting the people of the United States. I personally don't have to think about it because I've been saying that for over 2 years now. I do not understand why he hasn't been charged for treason and impeached. He should be sitting in a federal prison as far as I am concerned!

Oh my god, thank you PostPerspective for letting this Hero showcase great preaches. He gave us EVERYTHING needed that AMD will present, the core values of how AMD has become the important part of the community, how movies will use the tools that AMD EYPC technology and now I own an AMD EYPC CPU yet I hope that AMD WILL BRING EYPC APUs too.

Thank you Mr. Knight for getting this statement out, great information with AMAZING pitch in addition to AWESOME explaining vital notation! This is the true reason why I admire AMD mad scientist like Dexter's Laboratory in an APU or BOBCAT of awesome CPU options lead alone the opportunity of running STRONG solutions. Thanks again Mr. Knight for keeping the AMD LAB affordable...

What fixture is that to your left that's generating the flicker effect? and what is controlling the effect?
@michelsuissa7448
@michelsuissa7448 Жыл бұрын
The light fixture seen camera right is a Quasar Science light array. It is being fed RGB pixels that are a projection of the images shown on the LED wall. That technique is called IBL (Image Based Lighting). The light array is being controlled by a software application called LiveFX.

@@michelsuissa7448 I worked with a DP in Toronto years and years ago. Doug Koch, he used to have a sensor he would tape to a small monitor and he'd play back video of a fireplace he'd filmed in his cottage, and the output from that would drive 3 different flicker generators with a pattern. and they'd control 3 x 300arri's with whatever gel packs and diffusion he'd want to use that day. It was a pain in the ass to set up but man did it really work well. I love seeing the advancements in technology out there.

i just saw it in January 2023. It was amazing quality graphics.. very high resolution and had some enteraining story telling.. It is fast paced as well.. That element made it hard for me to follow.. and if you are hearing impaired, like deaf or have auditory processing impairment.. it could make it had to follow the story. I was with a group and a bit too overwhelmed to ask if they had any closed caption devices that i could wear. but in any case the show was very good.. and every part of the dome was in focus.. there were no places that had seams in the projection or out of focus. What I would like ot know if there is a sweet spot to sit in the theatre.. I am thinking close to the projectionists.. or just in front of them would give the best view of what the animators were trying to highlight and keep in best perspective orientation on the dome.. and where the main focus of the storytelling was taking place. Getting those perfect seats probably would require becoming a foundation memmber so you can get into the theatre before the rest of the audience.
