Those tail lights, those dials.. That engine... That's a kia. With kia own 1.8 NA engine. The real lotus elan m100 usually does have a 1.6 TURBO Isuzu engine.

Those tail lights are so ugly (the original Toyota version is much better), otherwise it is a lovely little gem!

Sorry for the correction, but the original tail lights of the original Elan M100 are Alpine tail lights. This car here is the Kia Elan. Not the real Lotus Elan

No, it's classic GM Detroit automatic transmission,4 speed. Very reliable.

I had a Ghibli GT as a daily driver 20 years ago now. In the same blue colour as this car but with beige leather interior. I loved that car. The Ghibli was the final model in the biturbo range and was a great car. Being a Maserati of this era the build quality was poor but that 2.8l biturbo V6 was a masterpiece. I would have one again in a heartbeat.

Hard to say. V12 is a fast and chill. V8 compressor is more like fast and nervous. It is really hard to explain. You have to drive with both. ;)
