she has several guitars in her collection - a Pre-War (from Ben/Wes), a few Thompsons, a Huss and Dalton etc - like many musicians they have different instruments for different songs, settings etc.

My wife and i have had a few tough times . Bought my Martin D - 28 in the late 90's just as i was learning to play . There has been talk of selling my guitar to make ends meet . My wife never saw this story . So i just played it for her . And it hit me , if id sold my guitar i don't have anyone who would care this much . Mr . Barber you have a treasure that no amount of money can buy . A son's Love .

Special things have a way of finding where they belong. Had a special guitar return to me after 4 years missing back in the 80's and it's still right here next to me where it belongs. My son will be the caretaker when I'm gone which will be not long from now.

How’d he develop such a southern accent in Washington I know there’s wide open spaces and ranches cattle and all that but I’d never seen anyone there sound southern and I’ve been there a whole year one time (just for a girl) theyd make fun of my accent.

This kid one day will be a country great up there with the best. He’s 1/4 way there already. I haven’t ever seen someone both sing and pick good as him he’s got it all man. Like too good. Also the guitar just sounds incredible.
