I didn't get the notification for this one. 😡 fixing those notifs right away because this was so needed-- I had to choose between buldak and shin today and ultimately I wish I'd chosen shin. I prefer thinner noodles and less creaminess. Buldak sweetness turns me away. I hope Miku gets her pork! Awooga!

@@lookcatchu i tried this carbonara buldak stuff you're always using. i saw it in the supermarket and impulsively tried it. I don't know why! I wish I just stuck to my original plan of making spaghetti with cream, tomato paste, and gochujang, and skreeeimp.

No local Asian market here.. very poor selection at Walmart. We're lucky we get Maruchen noodles. And I like Asian, but if I did a survey (and I have) Hispanic food for the win. We do have Thai and Japanese local food trucks.

@@lookcatchu we have a few Chinese American buffets, but any Asian food products are scarce as hen's teeth. I wish we had a place that served sea food.. have to get mine on a buffet and miss the big Haddock fish frys from up North.

@@lookcatchu we had a Christmas meal delivered by our local Crisis Center.. Thor ate all my turkey, I ate the ham. We didn't really celebrate Christmas this year, gave my tree away to a neighbor and her little son. Do you celebrate or is it Boxing Day?

I made turkey dinner. I'm always shocked at the price of instant Ramen noodles these days. Extra shocked that that was the sale price and you were at an Asian grocery store in the GTA! Gone are the days of better deals at Asian grocery stores there? I'm from Ontario but moved to NS over decade ago. Oh and an early Happy New Year to you, Miku and family!🎉

GISJING!!! WOW you are such a chef, I've never made turkey at home. I should try someday. YES LOL it's so expensive and they also put less bags inside 😭 shin used to sell 5 in a pack but now it's 4. Thankfully it was on sale, maybe a promotion since it's new? I bought two packs just incase I'll never be able to find it again LOL happy early new year to you too!! @lookcatchu I think I've only ever made turkey 2 or 3 times, but this time was my first time I ever bothered to cut up the turkey. I have to say it may sound daunting at first but it actually wasn't that bad and it was so much faster than cooking the whole bird. I would recommend cutting up your turkey in pieces if you're going to try it. I guess I'm used to cutting up whole chicken into sections because that's what I do with Costco chicken and sometimes use the carcass to make quick easy congee or soup or just gnaw on the bones lol. Oh yeah, I did notice that too with less packages of noodles. 👎👎 Thanks for the love and hugs, right back atchu!
