Note: If you have an issue where you get a black screen on the streaming PC and you do not see your Gaming PC in the list under properties for teleport, it is likely your Firewall blocking it. I recently experienced this when switching to just using Windows Defender. To resolve it, you need to add the OBS exe file as application for Inbound and Outbound connections in the Firewall. Make sure to do this to both the Stream PC and Gaming PC. Took me about 5 mins to add it. You don't have to worry about ports or anything like that. Other AV software you probably can just unblock the app in one spot, but best to check how to for yours. Once I did that, it worked no issue. This wasn't something I ran into previously. If you would like me to make a video on this, please let me know, but I hope the above helps people out.

I tried using game capture and display capture and I'm still getting a black screen. Idk what is going on. I have messed with the firewall at some point on my PC, would that have anything to do with it and if so how do I revert that?

Possibly. It for some reason your firewall thought it should block it, but imo that would be very odd. I never messed with my firewall settings, just kept them at default. Might want to make sure your network adapters are set to Private network in Windows. Outside of that I am not sure. If your seeing things on the Gaming PC side but then nothing on the Steam PC side, unless your missing a step like on the Stream PC making she under the properties of teleport it should list the name of your Gaming PC. Outside of that I have no idea. Maybe rewatch the video on it and validate you followed all the steps. Sorry I cannot be of much help. Its a pretty basic setup so there isn't much you have to do to set it up.

I just ran into the same issue as I recently switched over to Windows Defender. If thats what you have, you will need to allow the OBS 64 bit exe for Inbound and Outbound on both PCs in Windows Defender Firewall.

Test using Display capture. First thing is to capture the screen or game on the Gaming PC. If you see it there, then turn on Teleport under tools from OBS on gaming PC. Once you do that see if it shows up on OBS on the stream PC. I didn't have to do anything firewall related.

@@opdanky236 So now for games, instead use Game Capture. Then at the top with Game capture selected, for Mode, click on the down arrow, select Capture specific window. Then in Window, select whatever game your playing. Once it shows on the Gaming PC OBS, it should show on the Stream PC OBS as well. You want to make sure you are running the game before clicking on Game Capture in OBS. Sometimes I click off it, and then back on it to see a game. But, either method works. You just have to set teleport Advanced audio properties on Stream PC to Monitor off. Should be that for both Stream PC and Gaming PC. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the video, quick question. Do you have about a 2-3 second lag going from your gaming pc to your streaming pc when you are previewing on the stream PC what is being broadcast to Twitch, KZbin, etc.?

I hadn't noticed honestly. Seems to be pretty quick. Assuming everything is hard wired for your dual PC setup. Obviously when I am live there is a small delay. Might need to tweak the quality setting for Teleport though.

@@JDZGamingEmpire I meant move the slider down on the teleport quality. I keep mine at 90 but never see lag issues previewing. The more you raise the quality the more data and possibly more latency. Start at like 65 and see how that goes. Then maybe work your way up. Like I said though, I never notice any latency with my setup using the plugin.

Thanks for checking out this video. I feel for $40 USD, this is a great option for a microphone for anyone looking for something that isn't expensive. @@leosavage2731 just have to make sure you have the teleport source on the stream pc if you see it in OBS on the stream PC you should see it on Twitch. You have to also run OBs on the game Pc too with the plugin.

@@leosavage2731 Just the stream PC. On the gaming PC, when you see the game is captured on screen, you have to click on Tools at the top, Select Teleport, then check the box. for teleport enabled. Just remember when done, untick the box and close OBS. Otherwise you will get a not responding

Does one need a beefy GPU in the streaming PC? I dont have a new mobo and PSU for the GPU and CPU I wanna use in the streaming PC build, but my old Beater PC has 12GB of ram and an i5 but using onboard GFX

@@jackofficialTM a lot of it has evolved over time. My audio interface especially. This is 4 years into doing streaming. I didn’t add a second pc until two years in. So yeah gradually. You don’t need the most pricey or huge name brands right off the start.

@@cheezyjokester yeah the rendering of stuff is a little slow sometimes because where a building can be unrendered you can see enemies floating in the air and you can even attack them while the structure/building isn’t rendered sometimes even textures don’t render right and can just be see through.
