well, now to be honest when you said "must have taken forever", you are absolutelly correct. the seeker at the beggining took like 50+ takes, most of them lost because he aggroed too early or too late, and i lost 2 REALLY good takes because i recorded in the wrong format. the one i used was the "fuck it, that was close enough".

It took 18 years, 18 YEARS!!!! to tame this beast of a game and get a proper port from the arcade into the 360. Thata shows how ahead of time this game was.

Could this be used with handheld footage from a real camera? I'm assuming it would because the information is the same, if the shutter speed is high enough that each frame has no motion blur.

it actually could, i used it to deshake some 30fps handheld phone video recently. (but you may get mixed results, it was tweaked for the vr thing) there is a python script available that does just the stabilization here, might be useful: github.com/drcouzelis/stabmyvid

Thanks! It is really hard to convey meaning even when trying from a first person perspective. Especially after so much of what we see has been cropped into. I have to say, I will be going into resolve afterwards and adding some tasteful motion blur

i just updated the link with a new version (v1.04) that has 4 selectable motion blur presets (maximum to minimum). It might come in handy if you want to tune it yourself.
