Rhino is perfect for concepts and concept design and industrial design. You can also use it for 3d printing and manufacturing, but for 3d printing and manufacturing we have better tools.

Because you normally want to work with quads in topology. All around easier to work with. Really depends on work flow but look at the awful n-gon after he applies the new bevel. Notice the quads with sharp.

You can change the appearance of every element in the File > Properties > Appearance > Colors menu.
