Nice one! I use the same technique to texture tech models, eg: spaceships
@fardinbagherian392025 күн бұрын
This is wrong in the first place. You have to connect the inner corner vertex to the outer corner and delete the side 2 edge. That way you will have a better, cleaner and less topo

I’m doing this for my roblox game, but half of the grass is white and half is green. What do I do?
@NIXO3D25 күн бұрын
It could be because one of your ColorRamps is white; change it to green.

Man, thank you so much!! Also, I'm wondering, do you know what companies use Rhino for Industrial Design? I can't find much info about it.
@NIXO3DАй бұрын
Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm glad you found the video helpful. Several companies use Rhino for industrial design, especially those involved in product design, architecture, jewelry design, and automotive design. Rhino's versatility and powerful 3D modeling capabilities make it a popular choice in various industries. Some notable companies and industries that use Rhino include: Product Design and Manufacturing: Companies like Adidas, Nike, and other consumer goods manufacturers use Rhino for designing and prototyping products. Automotive and Transportation: Rhino is used by automotive design studios for concept modeling and detailing. Companies like Ford and Tesla have been known to use Rhino in their design processes. Architecture and Interior Design: Many architectural firms, such as Foster + Partners and Zaha Hadid Architects, use Rhino for complex architectural modeling and visualization. Jewelry Design: Rhino, along with its plugin RhinoGold, is widely used in the jewelry industry for designing intricate and custom jewelry pieces. Marine Design: Yacht and ship designers also use Rhino due to its precision and ability to handle complex curves and surfaces. Rhino's strong plugin ecosystem, including tools like Grasshopper for parametric design and T-Splines for organic modeling, further enhances its usability across these diverse fields. I hope this helps! If you have any more questions or need further information, feel free to ask.

How adequate is to learn modeling with Rhino? Mostly for 3D-print engineering. I pretty much love the simplicity and flexibility of Rhino, wonder if it is precise enough for such applications or even somewhat industrial.
@NIXO3D2 ай бұрын
Rhino is perfect for concepts and concept design and industrial design. You can also use it for 3d printing and manufacturing, but for 3d printing and manufacturing we have better tools.

@@NIXO3D Sure thing SolidWorks/SiemensNX/... are much more powerfull...and complicated...and expensive. There are rumors saying Rhino is widely used in jewelry design. Thanks for an answer

Why isn't that the default?
@Arcin3212 ай бұрын
Because you normally want to work with quads in topology. All around easier to work with. Really depends on work flow but look at the awful n-gon after he applies the new bevel. Notice the quads with sharp.
