Something about it makes me a little sad knowing that these places are long gone and these are only replicas. It's nice to see them for sure, but so much time has passed since.

Unfortunately, it was Michael Landon who had the outdoor sets blown in the "last farewell" as apart of the story line for the last episode. It was all a part of the plan to reset the land back to its original condition (as a ranch), per the contract with BigSky Ranch. It was inevitable. Plus with as many wildfires as this area has had since 1984, if they remained (and not blown up), They would have been taken by fire by the 1990s.

This was probably last minute. I was at the Little House event in Kentucky last weekend and was told that they didn't even know he was coming to the event in Simi Valley...just showed up after all these years!

I was as close as I could get.. I was in the front row. I don't zoom b/c I recorded this for my memory.. I wanted to remember how it was with me sitting in the chair. I can't zoom my eyes, so I left it. I also was working several cameras at the same time. Was hard.. surprised I got it at all.

Thank you for taping this. I know some are going to complain about the recording but it just seemed like they never set anything up to have each of these appearances taped professionally and put on DVD someday. What a loss for them. I think the sound system there sucked but none of that is your fault. You captured a moment in history. Thank you.

My 3 year old self is giving me the chills watching America's Most Wanted in September 2004 and I remember this episode VERY well! Jesus this was scary to watch and better yet HELLA nostalgic for Saturday nights! Thank goodness I'm an '01 baby born and raised in West Palm Beach FLA (Florida)🌴🏖️🌴🏖️🏙️🌴 Childhood memories.

I was in the front row. Without getting on stage and putting the camera in his face, there was no way I would have been able to get any closer. You shoulda come if you wanted a closer view. I did what I could. The video is suppose to be about the 'experience', not just the interview so it was shot in the manner of a person sitting in the audience. I was that member. I wanted to remember it how I saw it, and this is how. With no zoom!

Thanks so much for posting this highly anticipated interview for those of us who couldn't attend! So happy to see these two together again after so many decades apart! Jonathan was everything I hoped he'd be and even more handsome than I could have hoped for! Nice that he got to feel the love and amazing to see how gorgeous, gentle and kind he remains. He would be a stellar runway model: certainly has the height, build, and sense of humor to succeed in a big way, something in the vein of 1980's GQ mag fame. The highlight of the Simi convention other than Ketty Lester and Lucy Lee Flippin and everyone else, including Half Pint!!! Much love and respect to Allison and Jonathan! ♥️♥️♥️
