The taxes on your sale in the USA are directly handled in USA. When you buy your property here, you can use the services of a real estate agency such as House Hunters Panama to help you search for your house here and explain anything you need to know. In Panama you pay property taxes calculated based on the amount and size of the property bought. And your lawyer and agent used in the transaction will guide you but just to let you know the property taxes in Panama are approximately 1-2%. Do not buy pre construction do not buy site unseen in Panama Crap Construction, Real Estate Scam in Buying and Renting there are so many Pirate Real Estate Agents running around they kow nothing about real estate these are the Expats always Asking 50% below asking wether renting or buying you are getting ripped off, as an expat you buy a home and trust it to any realtor in Coronado they will set a high prices sadly no one is renting over 1,500.00 per month - so One Realtor is using the house as a Party House in Coronado she is scum so Tenants Expats beware tripple check before you buy rent or sign a document
