Marilyn Manson as a band ended with The High End Of Law. Everything after that as he went solo. Every record sounded much different than previous. As Trent Reznor. He writes the music with different musicians and hires different musicians for record and touring. The new record definitely will be loaded with Tyler Bates fingerprints.

I agree with you on the Holy Wood sound, I thought the same thing the first time I heard it.

He sounds rejuvenated! Such an amazing song. I place it between the Mechanical Animals and Holy Wood era. Amazing 👏🏼 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼

I just finished watching the video and damn, he's looking way healthier now than he has in years. And the vocals, holy shit, I don't think he's ever sounded this good! Dude actually learned how to SING, and I'm all about it!

This comeback single is surprisingly GOOD, a bit of “holywood” vibes, vocals & production really on point! Best release in years! 10/10

The mix is just so overblown. Clipping through the whole thing. The singles were mixed so well, but this album was just put through some amateur. Kills it for me.

The Descent album is to me very unpolished, in some regards unfinnished. Which is a huge pity. It has some amazing songs, but as many they do elevate those in their live performances.

I dont know why but in the prechorus, his voice makes me think of Chester Bennington a little 😝😝 its linkin park-ish (te prechorus)

No mather how much people is bitching about manson after 2006, every album has something to offer, its own vibe. I feel like a lot of people have been impatient with what he had to offer. Most album after 2006 are growers, you have to undo your preconceived notions about him and welcome his new version of himself. BUT ITS ALSO GREAT THAT HES GOING OLDSCHOOL LIKE THIS. :)

Bonjour de France, c'est de la variété, il n'y a plus rien de Marilyn Manson dans ce single ..En Europe les réactions sont mauvaises c'est entendu 1000x c'est du classique du rock fm juste bon pour mtv .C'est mauvais .

First 2 CD's I ever owned were Manson -Portrait- and Korn -Self Titled- been a fan of both since the early 90's and have enjoyed watching them grow and develop as artists. Being in the group of the pioneers of the early Nu-Metal era. This New Manson song hits hard. He sounds incredible! Looks HEALTHY and revitalized! SUPER stoked for this album. This song gave me a "mature" Mechanical Animals vibes. The production sounded fantastic.

For me it was cassette tapes, but my first were Manson's "Smells Like Children" and Korn's "Life is Peachy." From there, BMG and Columbia House were my main source of tapes and CDs since I was only about 12 years old and it was almost an hour round-trip to the nearest music store. Still a huge Manson fan to this day. Love Korn too, but Manson will forever be my number one.

This song came up on my spotify randomly and I didnt even realise it was a brand new Manson song at first. Thought it was something from the 90s, mechanical animals era... he has de-aged. Absolutely awesome to see him return to this more melodic style!

The strangest part about this song is that it's the first one that's actually overtly positive. Not to say his other songs didn't have positive messages, but those messages were often buried beneath shocking lyrics. If one reads the lyrics of "As Sick as the Secrets Within," they will see that they are truly, truly beautiful. Like roses. Like deep poetry. Whereas the other stuff was poetic, but just poetic cool. These words cut deep, deep, deep, and the words alone don't need shocking lines to sell it. #MarilynMansonRises🌹

I've noticed that some recent comments of ,"not too long ago" stuff that Manson has done left them yearning for his material that came out when Manson first came out. The brand new stuff that has come out, I feel, has answered that yearning and at the same time is showing Manson is improving and sounding like he can create something new. I'm excited, I'm enthusiastic and I'm very proud of Marilyn Manson!

I honestly don't think it sounds like anything he's done before. Indeed, there is a dash of Holywood. But all in all, it's original and fresh.

Many who thought it was time to dogpile on, and that chose to not take the mans true character into the equation will be looking very foolish. Since 1994....I stand by Manson and will continue to do so
