I have mature hair. Before taking bp medication my hair strands and texture was stronger/thicker, but now strands thinner, weaker and break easily. I've gone from a somewhat fuller crown of hair to very thin in five years, very disappointed. I also have silver hair in callic areas and temple, salt & pepper thru-out hair. My hair has almost stopped growing in my crown area. I could use advice.

This treatment doesn't preserve your natural curls. It made certain strands of hair straight like they were relaxed, very disappointed

I was going to ask why did you dry her for 90 minutes then blow her out but then i realized her hair is thick. Really beautiful. I learnt alot. Thank you.

I don't understand why people hate on curly perms. I'm mixed race and get "white people" perms for this same look. The only question I how come the hair is relaxed before it's curled? I would think that would cause damage.

I have been wearing locs for almost 30 years. Im happy with them. For me I prefer to not chemically treat my hair. I think over time, the chemicals will eventually catch up with you and cause damage, even if applied correctly. That’s just my personal view. Do what feels right to you..
