Thank you for your video. I’ve been looking for better ways to make smaller precise cuttings for years. No art supply stores have helped and only have x-acto! I just ordered everything you demonstrated. Will all be here Tuesday. Can’t wait!!! ❤️🥳🙏🏻👩🏼🎨

Thanks for sharing this info Megan. Have you recently ordered the blades from Amazon because I'm having no luck myself?
@ClarkePaperandKnife4 жыл бұрын
Hello! I actually just ordered a new pack last week. I'm not sure where you are, but I can see them listed on the Amazon.com website at www.amazon.com/Cutter-30-Degree-Blades-40-Blade-BDC-200P/dp/B003CF8X5Y/ref=sr_1_2?crid=IQ5C59805SPQ&dchild=1&keywords=nt+cutter+blades&qid=1594810583&sprefix=nt+cut%2Caps%2C171&sr=8-2 I'm in Canada so I use the Amazon.ca site, it looks like they are out of stock right now though. I have seen them on Ali Express. Hope that helps!

@@ClarkePaperandKnife Thanks a lot. I'm in Canada as well so I guess I have to wait for them to restock it.

Thank you I will definitely check these knifes out I want something that’s a little easier on my fingers

I still get sore fingers after a long, multi-day cutting session, but you could always add a squishy pencil grip :)

Hi! love your videos and thank you for sharing your knowledge. I would like to start with paper cut so I watch some videos on KZbin trying to understand what will be the best way to do it. I noticed you have the green paper behind your paper cutting and I wanted to ask why is that? Again thank you for everything!

Very good advice. And the small matt too. Duh! You just can't think of everything. Thanks.
@jsi44527 жыл бұрын
Just to add my two cents about using Silhouette or Circuit. Unfortunately you have a sticky matt that holds paper in place and even if it could cut that fine, I don't know how you would get piece off the cutting surface in one piece. Love your info. Have a Silhouette that I love for vinyl but I love paper cutting by hand. Go figure. J

Thanks for the video. Can a paper cutting machine like the cricut or silhouette cut these intricate designs?
@ClarkePaperandKnife7 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure if those type of cutting machines can cut as tiny as the designs I make. I have never used one though so I'm no expert with a Cricut :)

Hi! Sorry it took me so long to reply to your comment! I'm a terrible KZbinr :P I think this piece took me about 8 solid hours to cut. It wasn't the longest I've ever spent on a single piece, but it is definetly up there.

Gotta love those NT knives and their cheap blades :D The swivel knife is the one that I use and if you practice with it for a while, it definitely becomes so much easier (maybe it'll become the main one you use).
@ClarkePaperandKnife8 жыл бұрын
Maybe I'll try to use only the swivel knife on my next piece to get more practice in :)

Hi, this is amazing! What knife do you use for this?
@ClarkePaperandKnife8 жыл бұрын
Thanks! In this video I'm using a NT Cutter D-500Gp. It is my knife of choice now because I find the very point of the blades don't break as easily and the blade packs are very inexpensive. I bought the knife on Amazon and then buy the blades there too.
@lounewbs8 жыл бұрын
+Clarke Paper and Knife that is great will look into it, currently using a Swann Morton but feel like it's not quite as good on the really fine cuts! Keep up the great work 😊
