Neal Brown's fired and wren baker has to ask Nick Saban and Jimbo Fisher if they want the jobs which they probably don't but he still has to ask if we find out he didn't then Baker's out. You have to at least ask these two are from West Virginia and they have national championships and have coached way above West Virginia level not to ask would be disrespectful to the WVU fan base.

he hasn't won the sixth game yet and this last one is highly unlikely... if he wins against Texas Tech , I will be so happy.... and he could keep his job in my book but I want to see what his recruiting class looks like and who will be his DC?

Winning or losing in the fourth-quarter is the head coaches stated goal. If they're not in the game in the fourth quarter they just lose.

Make it simple. AD should tell Brown that if he wins next week, he stays. Lose, he's fired.

If they make a move, does the buyout come from the MAC, CRT or a combination of both? I believe the only way a change happens is if a donor or donors' steps up with the money and says "make a change".

The fake, mediocre "fans" said it all about their quality of fandom by not attending the game. WVU has very few TRUE fans. They are as fair weather as it gets.

@EerSports The football program problem is more than just the head coach... it's the CONFERENCE. Unless you bring in a big name head coach/recruiter comparable to Deion Sanders, Nick Saban, Jimbo Fisher, etc... a first time head coach and/or FBS coach moving up to higher level competition - will continue to meet the same struggles as Neal Brown AND would likely have an even worse record than Neal
@Mburns9Күн бұрын
No you are just assuming that. Neal is bad it’s not like all these good G5 coaches are bad when they get to WVU, it’s just Neal didn’t work here.

Dont dow. The fans in a smug way. You're lucky anyone showed up. 6-5 and you act like the ship is righted. We made a bowl game. Im sure it will be a tire bowl or a mayonnaise bowl or the toilet bowl. 😂😂Pathetic.😂😂

If i'm wrong then i'm wrong and let me know if you would like. The scheduling thing to me is a topic that is crazy. Why should it matter if you are scheduling two P4 out of conference teams? If you go out and win your conference you’re now going to get a bid to the CFP. Where you are seeded is an entirely different subject but you’re in. To me scheduling those teams and as early as you do/did only helps you when it comes to obtaining an at-large bid. Granted depending on the outcomes of those games means something as well. I’m not saying you have to win them both but at least look respectable in the losses if you have a loss, and your chances of obtaining one is better than it was. I would think that a 10-3 Big 12 team that didn’t win the Conference Championship, but had one or two close losses to a P4 out of conference school, would have a better chance than a one loss ACC team that didn’t win a CONF CHIP, but played a few G5 or lower cupcakes. Not only that there are some other advantages as well. Might sneak out a win or two in those Team is going to get a feel for what a CFP game is going to feel like Confidence coming out of those games might springboard your team to a higher level Getting some national attention Why would you want to go 12-1, take a loss in the CONF CHIP game, make it to the CFP, and be blown out because; Conference wasn't that strong top to bottom Team isn’t as good as thought The seeding you get isn't really favorable Recruiting and TRF Portal players may turn somewhere else because of that loss. As far as the Neal Brown situation goes. In my opinion, it would’ve been him walking out a few weeks ago and not Jordan if he was going to be let go. The firing of Jordan, even though the Defense was horrible, is a show of the hand. Meaning the University is going to keep Neal Brown. Why can just one if you’re going to can the other at the end of the season anyways. Your D isn't going to improve that much. Really don’t think that is the last firing for this year, and pretty sure there will be some more assistants/coordinators let go. Apologize for the long rant

We cannot stop blaming Shane Lyons until Neal Brown is no longer here. It's still on him, whether or not you want to keep the blame there. Neal is only here in the first place because he didn't have the balls to fire Dana when he wanted to (which would've been stupid), so Dana played us like fools. Then we have the extension. And the schedule. So, nah, we won't stop blaming Shane Lyons until the problems he created are no longer ours.

I think coach Devries should invite the "so - called press" to come out on the court and try to make every shot that they attempt and then ask them why do you think you missed that shot? Then say " Well if you can't make every single shot then how do you expect us to make every single shot as well? Maybe that will shut them up about complaining about the shooting percentages.
