Be warned this car does not come with a Spare Tire or jack. Just an Air pump. The latest news is that Honda parts department now has a Spare Tire kit for about $500 + Tax. Imagine, spending $40,000 plus tax and registration and having to spend an additional; $500 plus tax before you have a vehicle that won't leave you stranded by the side of the road at 2AM.

Be aware, No spare tire, not even a donut spare. The Honda supporters will tell you "But, But, But, it comes with a tire repair kit and an air pump" Just imagine yourself by the side of the road at 2AM in the rain trying to repair and inflate a tire when you have no jack or tire iron. You call the Emergency number to get help and the recording tells you to call back during normal business hours. By the way, if you by a normal Honda Accord you get a spare tire. Latest news: Honda Parts Dept now sells a spare tire kit that gives yo a donut spare, a jack and a tire iron for about $500.

Just be warned, Honda Accord Hybrids do not have a spare tire, not even a donut spare. If you get a flat you hay be left up the creek without a paddle. I had a 2009 Caddy CTS that did not have a spare and I wound up stuck in the middle of nowhere for 8 Hours until a rescue truck arrived. The car was towed and I needed extensive transmission repairs afterword because of the damage caused by the tow, costing me $3,000 plus a day lost out of my life.
