For those asking about the anealing temperature. 1, rub soap on the tube and heat until soap turns black ( my preferable method) Or 2, put a marker pen mark on tube and heat until mark fades. Or 3, put carbon from a acetylene torch or candle, and heat until carbon black disappears. Also use packed down dried out playsand and if possible weld on end caps but not air tight. Try and use a former close to the radius of the bend you require.

If you're a pro you buy the Makita, a diyer only needs the Parkside (generally speaking)
@alphabuilders
@alphabuilders 3 ай бұрын
Waht? thats a £35 makita then purchased bare.. How on earth is it £470? Its Makitas lowest end drill, and a old retired one at that, its been replaced by better low end options.. If you really picked a decent makita it would have been a wipe out... That still said for occasional use the parkside is ok. For a basic low end makita vs parkside you will save abou £30 - £40. Mainly on the batterys. parkside batterys are much cheaper, the charger is a bit cheaper and the drills cost about the same... But Makita have over 300 tools in the 18v lxt range and you can buy spare parts atarting from $2 . Makita provide drawings for all their tools and take care tom make sure spare parts are available for all the tools. Parkside do not...

You can do as many different tests as you want but the Parkside wins hands down every time because of the price. Makita: £150 ish Parkside: £20 😂😂 You really can't go wrong

I have had Makita tools for years here in France. I recently bought a replacement new battery drill. It had a metal chuck. When I came to use my new drill once you put a drill bit in the chuck you could not get it out, the chuck would not undo. Apparently this problem has been known for at least a couple of years. When I mentioned this to the supplier in France their attitude was send it back and we will repair it. Not good enough! If Makita are going to supply customers with tools that need repair from day one I will now be buying another make. Sad, but for me customer service is as important as the tool.

Hello, I have the same Turbo Daily, how hot does yours get in these cold months? Mine only goes up to about 65°C. Maybe faulty thermostat? Or is it normal? Thanks :)

I am sorry, i did not really noticed the temperature becouse I do not do long drives in winter and can not real heat up the engine. Yes but I think mine runs a little bit on cooler side to. I will have a drive today and maybe I report back if I notice something. Greatings

On what planet does that old Makita cost 470 euros? Ultimately the biggest difference between parkside and Makita tools, besides power, is longevity, ergonomics, and reliability. The batteries and motors in parkside tools will die much more easily when stressed. That said, for most DIYers the parkside is a fine place to start. It’s crazy how cheap and accessible power tools are these days.
