Looks sick with green straps ! Also for anybody wondering. If your gshock watch app is open on your phone while travelling it will switch time zones automatically with out having to connect. And if u want both your home time and new time zone showing u just switch to the dual tine option.

That tip about setting it in mono is a lifesaver. I recorded a bunch of content for a video in stereo only to find out after the fact that I was recording "mono" level audio under the stereo setting. I think single and pair are clearer than mono and stereo, especially when these terms have concrete definitions in the audio community.

Don't use the noise cancelling. It fouls things up. Perform noise treatments in editing software for best mic performance.

I like the 35 but you are limited regarding the inserts. You can put in a normal insert but with the gap there be a lot more evaporation and the butane don’t fit so you can only use replica inserts

My video is not syncing with my audio. My video is lagging about two seconds behind my audio running through my iPhone 15 Pro Max. I’ve tried to look into some settings to get them to match any ideas? I did notice my desktop settings on my laptop where set to 2 sec delay.I fixed that.But that shouldnt effect my streamlabs mobile streaming

Judging by the handle you tightened with it. Would work better with insert out of the case. I’d be worried about bending my hinge while turning it to tighten something. Say the lid gets caught on something while screwing in a tight space.

That’s a good point, it’s definitely a risk of bending the hinge pin in some situations. Taking the insert out makes the handle much more versatile and the zippo case itself can just be a cool way to carry it around 😎

Yeah, it is a plastic watch but it is ridiculously durable. It bounces if dropped so excellent at absorbing impact. It’s up to the view of whoever if looking at it. I happen to love the look, especially in the summer months

I really want a tough solar casioak , but i am afraid that the stretched resin bezel will bother me a lot so i might get the metal one. Does this happen to other g shocks like the 5610 too? Will it change its shape from “square”?

I haven’t had another gshock type long enough to experience this happening. I assume since the silicone is the same type of silicone that my yellow one is, that it is probably going to happen eventually. It took me a while to even notice it though. While putting this video together I saw some old pictures where it was starting to happen and I had no idea back then.

Order any gshock u want and get the aftermarket metal mod kits it’s what I do. And I havent had this happen on 5600. Probably cause it’s square it’s easier for round shapes to deform.

Great review Owen. I love my Casios although my cheap 91 series straps are breaking. I just figured out yesterday how to get a military style nylon strap on one of them. Now I have a couple more to do. It's a bit of a pain :)

My 10 year old son has picked and paid for with his own money this exact watch. Any time he's wearing it (already has a 3 watch collection) gets many compliments about it. And after a summer worth of literal torture and constant abuse at football, soccer, fencing practices the watch didn't skip a beat. Apart from few scratches. Also in his case the glass protector was a good call.

Good choice by your son. I’ve worn quarts and automatic dress watches for 25 years and I’m sick of them. They just aren’t reliable. I like that these are feature packed and the most accurate times.

I bought two of them. Left one original and stripped and polished the other. The brass is very soft, and I expect it wouldn't keep that nice tumbled finish for long without the clear coat. Both of mine have normal chrome inserts.

@@luisscheibe Acetone (nail polish remover.) It doesn't dissolve the coating, it just softens it. You can then rub it off with a finger or a piece of wood. If the acetone evaporates, the coating will re-harden, so you have to soak it again. It isn't easy, but it is possible.
