Thanks for the review. I have had loads of flagship zero turns from many different manufacturers. Many of those had Kawi motors and my last two flagships (Ferris and now Stihl) have had the huge Vanguard motors and I think the Vanguards arr the best motors ever made.

Totally agree on the Kawasaki engines. Never one problem between two ExMarks with them. Will be looking to replace my mower in 2-3 years and am researching now, among them Wright, Scag, and maybe Ferris (biggest dealer near me is big on Ferris). That was the most frank and critically honest review I've seen in months. Thank you!

I tried the scag turf tiger 2 and hated everything about it. I don't have a ferris dealer local, that would let me demo one. I consider these things the same as cars. If I'm going to thousands, I want to drive and cut with it first. I ended up buying the wright mower and absolutely love it. It's the comfort for me. No matter what speed I go, it's a smooth ride. Cuts great and stripes better than any mower I've tried. Which is saying something, because the dixie chopper can lay a stripe.

I'm with you. I prefer Kawasaki. I was recently told by an actual engineer (not a sales rep) I had a chance to spend some time with and talk to at one of the big brands that when they were designing one of their new models, they tested both the Kaw 38.5 efi and the VG 40 efi on a dyno and the Kaw consistently hit its rating but the VG gave between 32 to 34 hp per run on the dyno .

GO BACK AND GET A DIXIE HACKER, B&S IS JUST THAT, THAT'S WHY THEY ARE USING A VANGUARD, WHEN A KAWALSKI GET TO 2000 HOURS TOSS IT, YOU CAN'T KEEP UP WITH THE PARTS AFTER 2K... LIKE YOUR WRIGHT, IT DOESN'T GET ANY BETTER THAN THAT...

That reserve sounds like it's a Canned Hunting preserve, which is where animals are placed in a confined area with nowhere to run or escape to, and are able to be easily picked off by hunters, not to mention the animals are somewhat tame, unlike wild animals that are very skittish.
@homesteadhero6276
@homesteadhero6276 11 ай бұрын
I wouldn't say they "placed". They live on the 72 acres or whatever it is. But, they are rather tame and visit areas of feeding.

Also remember that there is a way to accidentally hit a button and go to profile 2 and if you do that right after setting it up you will shoot completely off unless you go back to profile 1. But on a good note that profile 2 can be used for broad heads and or a different bolt while profile 1 is field tips. I shot a deer last year with this scope and it was so dead on and a clean shot from 32yr up in a stand got a double lung and that was my first shot actually hunting with it. Yes it's difficult to understand sometimes but I have mine set for random yds like 30 53 and 61 and hit 2 bolts within a Nickle group but was scared to keep going because I keep robin hooding my bolts and it sucks.. good luck and I hope you get it set up right and get to see its potential I would never go back to my old scope. Happy hunting everyone

Ive sprayed and planted without exposing the soil at all and had great success, as long as you spread the speed right before a rain it will wash the seed right down to the dirt

I cut and sprayed last year. Spread red Clover before the rain, and had no success. I think the under vegetation was too thick. My best results was getting direct soil to seed contact with out tiling up the seed bed

The tops of brassicas is what u want the deer to eat...don't worry about the bulbs....that's a root and deer arnt really a hog in any way....if u had deer eat all ur tops then u had a very successful plot... The bulbs will become organic matter back into the soil...

I have the Elite 60" cut with the Kawasaki 27hp motor. Owned it for 6 years now and only two things have gone wrong. First is the parking brake cable keeps breaking right at the handle. First time it broke was when the dealer was delivering it to my house. He took it back, replaced the cable, brought it back, broke it again. He said he would order another cable (never heard anything back again....(dealer problem). 2nd is the mower deck tensioner for the drive belt. It has jumped off the retainer twice. It was properly adjusted per the manual. Not a big deal if you are young and strong (thank goodness for a young nephew). Other than those 2 things, it has done an excellent job on keeping about 6 acres of grass cut.
