Did your log lift just blow a hose? Also Are these still around the 3k GBP price range?

No hose split and i believe they are up around 4k now

How happy are you with this machine ? Ive been thinking about getting one of these especially with the 6 way wedge but i feel like the wedges could do with a bit of modification to split more effectively. Maybe include a couple of pins to hold the wedge on the blade instead of it riding up maybe ? Great video though buddy 👌

Yeah im very happy, yeah agreed ive thought about modifying the 6 way bottom splits are to big but they slip on and off easy so you can varyvwhatvsize wood you split, but overall a good machine, when i get a minute ill do a video the machine and how it's been

That log loader is nice . Wish we had one mounted on a trailer . Sure is a handy tool to have in the wood yard . We ben getting rain one day an snow the next then it warms up crazy weather for wintertime around here .

I put an 8 way hydraulic wedge on that splitter, it did an awesome job. I designed the wedge like the eastonmade so it would lock in place, it was a monster producer for sure.

@@SKFirewood I have a few vids on that splitter, one of the hydraulic wedge workings and one just making the 8 way. Not perfect but you can get the general idea of how to do it. The conversion was actually fairly simple, it could be done with a grinder, drill, welder and basic hand tools.

Look's like you got a good one and you know how to split safe with one person operating both the splitter and placing the log in the jaws. Some are showing the wife or kids operating like a team. NOT SAFE! Iguana
